“Small clean, modern cabin with fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Very comfortable with luxurious bedding. Snacks and breakfast items were appreciated. Convenient location in Wasilla on the way to Denali. Two beds upstairs in a loft area. We would suggest adding a night light for the stairs from the loft area. Highly recommended. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Red Bear Den. The home is cozy and clean. Lots of little extras in the kitchen and showers. Host were great and responded quickly. Saw lights dance across the sky in the yard for one of our nights.”

“Such a kind host, was willing to give detailed directions, sent suggestions for things to do places to eat, the place felt like home and was very quiet and safe!! We had a great time enjoying the view off the porch and watching the swans on the lake!! Hopefully she will accept us back in the summer so we can use a kayak and swim!! Beautiful place 10/10 recommend! ”

“The room was large, comfortable, with dun decorations and close to things to do. The host is friendly and there when you need him but who otherwise will leave you alone to do your thing. Will try to stay at again if I can return.”

“Overall great stay! Easy checkin, great communication with host! They brought us extra cream for our coffee in the morning when we texted. There was plenty of room, but it had one less king bed than was listed. Location was conveniently close to Anchorage airport. We were surprised that the apartment was a basement apartment which was not listed as such”

“This is really a great property. It's an older cabin, but is very comfortable and has everything you would normally need. The location is great with stores and a coffee shop within walking distance, not to mention close to the college. The listing really undersell the river view and the close proximity to the river, it’s really quite beautiful. Also, we got an amazing Aurora Borealis show in the backyard because there is very little light pollution at this property. We can’t wait to go back. ”

“After we got to this beautiful property, we wish we had longer to stay. We were leaving early the next morning for the airport. It was a beautiful space for a couple or single person. I loved their idea of a cabinet for sharing… Leave some thing and take some thing. Such a great idea that I will be using it in my vacation rentals that I own. I would definitely stay there again, if given the opportunity to come to Alaska!”
