“Outside of town, nice to be away from all the hubbub but still close enough to resupply easily. Pack in and out essentially. Good kitchenette accomodations (plates, cookware, salt/pepper, coffee fixings). Great little place to get away. 2 small cons: Payment was required much sooner than check in, which I didn't expect when booking through Expedia. The propane tank we dead empty, so I had to refill in town. Even then, the grill barely warmed up to cook out shrimp.”

“I was so sad to leave the cabin. It was truly remote surrounded by trees and so peaceful. I walked the trail to the lake and was blown away by how beautiful it was. I would stay again without a doubt. ”

“We had a terrific stay on the Lady Faye - we are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys ( age 17 and 13). This is a beautiful ship in an incredible setting - we had coffee in the AM watching floatplanes and cruise ships glide by - in the evening seals and sea lions coupled with fishing cruisers coming and going was beautiful. “This house was exactly as advertised. The master with the en suite was fabulous. Access to a washer and dryer was absolutely key. Kitchen was fully stocked equipment wise with a ninja blender, toaster etc. (No air fryer - that would have been an extra bonus). Minor issues: - drawers sticking in fridge and freezer - shampoo and conditioner provided was a great perk, I just wish it was slightly higher quality (dove or Pantene prov would be a step up). We would love to come back!!”

Westmark Anchorage Hotel

8/10 Bra

"Old hotel but does the job. Big spacious rooms and balcony but no chairs to sit down on. Make sure to get a room high up or the traffic will be very loud. Younger staff has attitude like bored teenagers and are only there for the paycheck. Breakfast is toast, muffins and coffee and everyone has a problem with the toaster which has been around since the 18:th century. I stayed here because it’s in downtown and easy to walk to everything."
