“This was, by far, the best girl's weekend you could ask for! The views are stunning. No verbal description or picture can do justice to the real thing, but Rick's description of the property is spot on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly want or need for your stay. I'd like to say it sucked so I could keep this location all to myself, lol, but that would be a lie and a huge disservice to our amazing host! We will be back! Don't know when, but we will be back. Thank you!”

“A beautiful and well equipped log cabin on the side of a mountain. Very comfortable bed! The yard and the flower baskets were well cared for. Saw hummingbirds and Phoenix moths each morning. Turkeys visited a couple of times. We loved the different outdoor sitting areas. The breakfast nook was a special to eat looking out at the beautiful vista. You can also sit in living room and look out and see the mountains. Ouray is known as Little Switzerland of America. Surrounded by majestic mountains....

“GREAT property! Loved the hot tub, stunning views, you can walk everywhere, great fenced in back yard for our dog, VERY comfortable beds and living area. Everything was easy and it made for a great, relaxing vacation. Highly recommend this beautiful home!”

“We loved the cabin, the view, the location and the nearby hikes! Watch for hidden driveways and maybe use low gear on the circular driveway to keep traction getting from the highway to the cabin. We had to back up to avoid hitting another car backing out of their driveway and low gear was the only way to get our vehicle up the hill and around the turn. It was pretty exciting, but others might appreciate a warning. ”

“We very much enjoyed this property as the perfect “base” for our family of four in Ouray. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and when we did need to drive parking right outside was very convenient. Communication with the owner was smooth and they were very responsive. Highly recommend. ”

“Easy access to all of town, all within walking distance. Loved the on site parking too!”

“The property is beautiful. Easy walk into downtown Ouray along the river path. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds and bedrooms are very comfortable. There were plenty of linens and even had towels for the Hot Springs pool. Everything has been remodeled in the bathrooms. We would definitely like to rent this property again. Finally the rental service was on top of all of our requests. Thank you.”
