“Very nice quiet duplex, and you get the bigger unit. Neighborhood very nice and friendly and my best friend and son had a great stay and the hot tub was a bonus after hiking at Lake Pueblo state park, which is very close and lots of stores nearby. This is a very lovely duplex check it out you want be disappointed. I'm already planning another trip and owner very nice and answer all your questions. Overall great stay 5 out of 5 ”

“We had such an amazing time here. Place was clean and perfect for our vacation. Super close to everything we needed. Close to the lake, which was great. The host was great, as well. We hope to return next year.”

“The Bunk House is very quaint and peaceful…just what we wanted. It has everything we needed. It’s not far from town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. There’s a little path that you can walk down to the river too. Highly recommend staying at the Bunk House if you are in Cañon City. Loved chatting with Shari, she is so sweet.”

The hosts answered every question we had prior to our arrival and checked in with us to make sure everything was as expected. We could have asked for better hosts. “The location was perfect, and the back yard was a great place to chill after our excursions each day. Quiet, private, and relaxing.The home is in need of some TLC. There have been some updates, but more are definitely needed. Also needs a deep clean. While the general cleaning was OK and sheets and towels were clean. The kitchen drawers and cupboards need to be completely cleaned and some of the stuff just tossed. Such as the pans with peeling Teflon. Also, two of the showers have some mold...
