“since I took the time to read the comments I was expecting things not to be perfect with this stay, had I not researched the property I may have been disappointed due to high hopes, with that said knowing everything with the house was not going to be perfect, I will say we had a great time. location and views are amazing the constant crashing of the waves got to be a little much by the end of the stay, but overall we had a great time.”

“Our family of 8 - 5 adults, 3 kids, had plenty of room. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy beds. Appreciated the coffee as that was the one thing we forgot! Very close to Volcano National Park. Nice quiet area. Host very responsive. Easy check in. Highly recommend and would stay again. ”

“We enjoyed our stay and stroll through the garden at the house. It was very quiet and comfortable. The house is tucked pretty far back and you can't use GPS, but once you memorize the route you're fine.”

Every detail was thought of, and the host was easy to contact, and the Jungalow would be a lovely place to unwind while visiting the Big Island!”

“We loved our stay at this property and wish we would have stayed longer. Plenty of space for everyone and a gorgeous deck overlooking the lush gardens and foliage. We had a dip in the hot tub and met the very nice owner. The location in proximity to Volcanoes National Park was amazing - literally minutes. ”

“Beautiful property with lots of fruit trees, natural scenery, sounds of peace and quiet. Hostess is amazing and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Loved the outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower. If you’re near Hilo - stay here!”

“We loved the house and its close setting to the shore, where you could see sunrise, big waves, dolfins and turtles. The area of rainforest and fresh lava fields is amazing. So spend a few more nights on Big Island and visit that spot! Its absolutely worth it.”
