“The property was clean and a great view of the pond on site. The owner, Julie, was very welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again for sure. We only stayed one night, but we wished we had stayed two tonights. We would loved to come back. I highly recommend this place. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway. ”

“My wife really liked the rustic feel of the place and was impressed with how clean it was at the same time. For me, it felt like a retirement property that I’d had for years, it was very welcoming. We didn’t take advantage of the water (kayaks, fishing, etc..) but we had friends over and used the grill to cook. We’d take our dogs outside in the back of the house and there was never any problem. “Another great stay. Plenty to do. Pool was wonderful when the heat index was over 100! Nice fire pit, outdoor kitchen. Kitchen is well stocked. Comfy beds. ”

“Property was extremely comfortable and inviting. The back yard is perfect for sitting and outdoor activities with a fire pit and surrounding area. Peaceful front porch with swing, relaxing place for morning coffee. Towering trees keep the property cool and shaded through the day. The property is accommodating and the attention to detail is notable, everything you need to make your stay perfectly enjoyable. ”

“We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend! ”

“We were an extended family (infants to adults) getting together for a long weekend. The house is exactly as described and as the pictures show. The absolute best VRBO home we have ever stayed in! The house includes everything you may ever need and would have to go buy at other rentals. The space was ample and we were all able to sleep comfortably in a bed or a rollaway bed provided. There are plenty of towels for the pool and hot tub. We spent so much time outside in the back yard...

“Ashley was always quick to respond with questions that I had! We had everything we needed and the house was ready for us! The kitchen was an open concept with the living room, which was very nice! The house situated on a dead end and it was very quiet and peaceful! Nice to set on the front porch where you could see the lake and watch the deer! Would definitely recommend this nice home!”
