“We really enjoyed our stay here! The neighborhood felt safe, the garage was set up fun with games, a ping pong table, bar, tv, table, and couch. Great for lounging around and having the garage doors open on a nice day. The house also has many bedrooms with multiple beds in several. This allowed everyone to sleep comfortably. Will be booking again in the future.”

“Great house with plenty of space for hosting a small group get together! The location is close to downtown and easy to get to! ”

“Keyless entry failed twice during our four night stay.Had to wait for owner to contact locksmith. Second time was after midnight before locksmith arrived.Results were that lock bolt for keyless entry was not installed correctly causing deadbolt to get stuck and not open door.Drain pipe in kitchen sink was not connected and flooded the kitchen floor when we used.”

“Easy to get to and from where we needed to be. Small but clean and met all the needs for sleeping except one part-basement included sleeping option for the couch but doesn’t work if you’re over 6 feet tall. We managed with that since it was a teenager. :) Overall we’re planning to stay again!”

“This house is ridiculous, but in a good and fun way. We were in town with family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Drake and this house was an excellent fit for our group. We only had seven people, but there is easily room to sleep 10 comfortably. We didn't use the kitchen, but the dining room table was great for a game of Five Crowns and we played a few games of darts in the game room downstairs.Location wise, it was a quick and easy drive from the house to both Drake and downtown Des...

“The house was uniquely decorated. We all loved the attention to detail.We took advantage of the pool and hot tub and fire pit. There were lots of it's spaces where we could gather to play cards. I also appreciated so many bathrooms throughout the home.Check in was very easy and the location was close to many restaurants.I also appreciated having fans. I like sleeping with a fan and I always appreciate when a rental provides them.”

You can tell it was purchased with a quick-and-dirty turnaround as far as prepping it for VRBO-type stays.The host was responsive; the house was mostly clean; the appliances worked.This gets only four stars primarily because of a lack of light bulbs. Yes, seriously. Instead of light bulbs in the lamps in one of the bedrooms, there were click-on battery lights stuck onto where the light bulbs should go.
