“The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

“Richmond är trivsamt och vackert med en fin hamndel med bra restauranger och hygglig shopping. Tyvärr har kinesiska investerare köpt stora delar av husen vilket gör att det är aningen ödsligt. Om man, som vi, skall flyga nästa dag är det riktigt nära till flygplatsen (10 - 15 minuter) och det går bra att ta tåget in till Vancouver om man parkerar 5 minuter från huset.”

“It felt like we were in a makeshift extension where someone lives & moves out for the weekend. They even left their worn sliders for us. The sitting area was in an unlocked conservatory, the room was locked by a simple padlock so at night so you close from inside without padlock - didn’t feel so secure. “We had an awesome stay - Becky is easily one of the best hosts we've ever had! This was an ideal spot for our family of 3 humans and 1 dog. There wasn't anything fragile near the ground for me to be to concerned that the dog may accidentally knock over and other than occasional barking from Becky's pups, no noise for our dog to react to. “To be fair, the host contacted me saying the unit had been accidentally double booked and gave me the option of cancelling or taking the similar upstairs unit with the caveat of some shared spaces noted but I could not have been prepared for what we were about to get.To start, we were notified to call the host to gain access to the property which seemed odd rather than a lockbox combo but though, “oh well”.
