“My stay was a respite from daily life, situated on a coastal bulff where the Tayrona river meets the sea. The sea was a little rough for normal beach activities but lying in a hamock listening to the waves crash and watching surfers was sooooo relaxing. The property is not super luxe but it is nicely finished and wel maintained and the staff are attentive and friendly. A great opportunity to practice Spanish since not a lot of English is spoken. “This is a unique place. We had a room just above the beach and the waves were roaring at night. That was truly fantastic, but also the only downside. It is quite difficult to sleep without earplugs (and even with earplugs) considering all the sounds (the room was with "open walls"). Also, the beds are very hard. I would definitely recommend a visit to this place, but perhaps don't stay for too long. We stayed for three nights, which I think is an absolute maximum.”

“Very nice atmosphere and helpful staff (fortunately one lady spoke English). We stayed for 3 nights. One day we made a nice walk on the beach to Palomino beach, the second day we stayed in the resort. You cannot swim in the sea, but there is a nice small swimmingpool. The third day the hotel organised a private tour for us: we floated with tubes on the Palomino river to the sea.
