âItâs a Hostel direct on the Beach. It has 2 rooms with a touch of luxury but it is and remains a Hostel and not a Hotel. We had one of this luxury room with balcony and it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The service ladyâs was very friendly and helpful. Around the hostel are many other hostels and restaurants for lunch and dinner. We had a nice small breakfast in the hostel. Internet is mostly available but all these area on the beach has not a really good coverage. Be aware that you...
âThe place is very badly maintained, dirty sheets and towels - the windows do not close ( so anyone can open the room at anytime and jump in and steal your stuff ) - the staff lady was very rude.
Simply just pay a bit more and save yourself this hassle - we had to move and pay for another place on the beach - there are way better options around â
âThis is a unique place. We had a room just above the beach and the waves were roaring at night. That was truly fantastic, but also the only downside. It is quite difficult to sleep without earplugs (and even with earplugs) considering all the sounds (the room was with "open walls"). Also, the beds are very hard. I would definitely recommend a visit to this place, but perhaps don't stay for too long. We stayed for three nights, which I think is an absolute maximum.â
âMy stay was a respite from daily life, situated on a coastal bulff where the Tayrona river meets the sea. The sea was a little rough for normal beach activities but lying in a hamock listening to the waves crash and watching surfers was sooooo relaxing. The property is not super luxe but it is nicely finished and wel maintained and the staff are attentive and friendly. A great opportunity to practice Spanish since not a lot of English is spoken. The food was all freshly prepared to order and...
âAfter a few days in a loud, lively beach town, we were looking for a quiet place by the sea - and found paradise! We stayed in a cozy, private hut (superior double room) with an open-air bathroom - showering while looking at palm trees is just amazing! As the cabañas are openly built, there are some insects, but that never was a problem for us. The bed is covered with a moskito net and waking up in the middle of beautiful tropical nature is just all we wanted. In the morning you hear nothing but...

"I love this place, Iâd recommend it for everyone who loves living near nature but still wants the amenities available in a hotel. Most people in the staff are very kind and helpful.
The rooms in the bungalows are very nice with very comfortable beds, every morning youâll wake up to the sound of all kinds of birds. It's very relaxing.
The breakfast is a bit limited but very good. The pool is beautiful. The rest of the hotel area is like a farm with many types of animals both tame and wild.
However, Iâd not recommend this place for people afraid of insects and lizards. They will enter the room. :)
I'd like to make it a 5 star review, but unfortunately the hotel has its flaws, especially the bathroom which actually looks very nice visually, but practically itâs bad in many ways which can cause irritation.
Also bad WiFi, it's too weak by the bungalows so you'll need to go to the reception by the pool to use the internet.
Poorly isolated walls, so if there's another guest living in the bungalow by the other side of he wall you'll hear them too well.
But in the end it's a lovely place to spend vacations, located near Playa Buritaca which has the sea on one side and the river on the other side, so you can choose where you prefer to swim.
