“Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you.”

“We spent a week at Law Brook Farm Cottage and we had a lovely stay. The views across Yorkshire from the main window are amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great. As the weather was not kind to us, we benefited from the log burner in the evenings and so felt cosy and warm. It’s charming and the owner Katie is a lovely person. We were surprised by the breakfast goodies and cookies waiting for us. It’s an easy walk into town and over to Sherwood Forest.”

“A large and immaculate house. Perfect for large family group of various ages. Kitchen room was lovely and great size bedrooms. We made use of the hot tub a number of times. The games room was very disappointing though. The local area has a number of attractions and perfect for few days away.”

“Excellent base to visit York. A pleasant 30 minute walk along the river into York. Property was very clean and warm. Owner very attentive. Kindly left milk, tea, coffee and biscuits which we were grateful for. ”

“The stay was excellent considering the owners high level of care and lovely property. No problem there. VRBO on the other hand mislead us by assuring us that the property was mobility accessible which it was not.. This created significant problems for the severely dialed member of the group and the carer. We double checked accessibility just weeks prior to arrival date and were again assured the property was accessible. It was not.”

“The property was in an excellent position, well equipped and very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent when we did encounter a problem with the shower which was quickly solved. The outside patio area could do with a little maintenance to improve the overall experience as we spent a lot of time sitting and eating outside in beautiful weather and surroundings. We felt that the provision for recycling also needed improving but otherwise the whole experience was excellent”

“Great location on a working farm very friendly, nice and clean with a view of the hill sides , we stayed in Daisy cottage it was all on one level with a disabled access shower which was great , near by walks taking in the beauty of the peak district national park, local pubs for great food, we would definitely return .”

“A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.”

“We stayed now on two occasions on our journeys north & south to Scotland. The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays.”
