“It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient place to use as a base for visiting New River Gorge, this worked well for us. Clean, good communication with owner. 15 minute drive to the bridge, restaurants, gas, etc.”

“As advertised. Clean and convenient to New River Gorge activities. Parking was easy. We would definitely stay there again. However, if stairs are a problem then it might not work for you. Communication was easy and timely.”

“Loved the back deck nice and quiet area close to several walking trails.”

“Quite community located next to the white water companies and the gorge bridge. Perfect weekend getaway”

“Beautiful home, very comfortable, had everything we needed for a deep night of sleep.”

“Great location for a vacation at new river gorge. Has everything you need in this type rental”

“We loved staying here. It was very clean and it was nice to see that there was things that we usually have to bring such as laundry detergent, soaps and shampoos. That was a plus for us. The only thing we didnt care for was the haul from the road to the house with our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We didn't receive any check in information. I messaged the host the day of our stay and requested it. Upon arrival the entire house smelled strongly of mildew. It was incredibly pungent. When I pulled out the sofa bed for our son, it was covered in dead insects. The home did not appear clean.”

“I have to say, this was one of the most well-stocked, and cleanest VRBOs we’ve been in. It is an older home, but I don’t think there was one speck of dirt to be seen anywhere! And there was soap, extra tp, bikes, hammocks, more than enough towels, plenty of everything for anything you might need in a pinch! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and it was so nice to have the hot tub to relax in after a full day of hiking and exploring. If we were to return to new river gorge, we would stay...

“House was as described. It is located off Harper Road. In a great location for lots of activities. There are several choices for restaurants. There is a Kroger grocery store nearby. The house was clean. Nicely decorated. Has in room air conditioning for bedrooms and main room. There is a coffee maker. A few kitchen utensils if you want to cook. Neighborhood is quiet. We had a great stay for my mom’s high school class reunion at Lake Steven’s.”

“I'd like to start with, we appreciated a place to stay. Id also like to say had it been warmer my grandkids would have at least been able to play outside. So the yard being there was nice. We did each have a space to sleep. We did experience quite a few issues.Upon getting to the property the front door was not secured, my daughter got there first with 3 little kids, so she waited for me and my husband to get there so my husband could check the peoperty before going in. I did contact the owner...

“Enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located close to everything!”

“Everything is great”

“The house was huge and had more than enough room for our family! The pool was a great added bonus!”

“Great property!”

“Very clean and cute! Had everything we needed and more. Great location for area exploration and adventures. Host was quick to respond, check in and out easy, laundry useful, etc. Great spot to stay!”
