“Beautiful boarding house on the National Registry. Highly recommend staying here. Delicious breakfast, made to order, daily. Popular restaurant by night. My husband said the trout was the best he has ever had, anywhere. Walk to town or to Tomahawk Lake Town is a popular shopping destination 20 minutes to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge museum and parkway. Also check out the town museum and the huge antique store just off the highway. ”

“Our stay was amazing. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We stayed in the Carolina Cottage which is not in the main house. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet for sleeping. The breakfast each day was a 3 course consisting of a blended smoothie to start, followed by a small yogurt parfait or waffle and then the main dish that was a bit more substantial. Cookies and fruit were available all day, as was coffee and tea. Absolutely beautiful view from the porch of the main...

“At the time of booking a bed-and-breakfast I thought that breakfast would be included and be prepared by cook. But I got breakfast in a bag in refrigerator to take to my room. If I would’ve known prior to booking the bed and breakfast I would’ve not to stay there.”

“We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay.”
