“Having spent two nights at Swarga I couldn’t be happier! The hotel is bang in the centre of historical Kathmandu with lots of sight, restaurants and shopping around. The hotel is very beautiful, clean and friendly and my room, the heritage suite, was nothing short of spectacular. Incredibly clean, stylish and modern but still very authentic and traditional. The hotel is an oasis in the bustle of Kathmandu with a lovely courtyard offering shade and tranquility. The breakfast/brunch was freshly...

“Great location with friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable.”

“Good breakfast, nice staff, clean premises.”

“Great staff. Especially the gentleman who runs the breakfast, (which is delicious too), . I would stay here again, no question.”

“A quiet oasis on a side street of Thamel”

“The hotel was so good that I actually came back a second time. :) The staff is very warm and friendly and kind and will offer good suggestions for meaningful places to go to. If you need any help, they will help you immediately. Also, my room was very quiet. Some other guy who wrote a review said he thought his room was a little noisy because of outside traffic, but the hotel is not facing a busy street and I did not hear any traffic at all. It was fine, I always got a good night's sleep. ...

“Great place to stay! Hot water and nice room. Helpful staff, just stayed for one night but would recommend!”

“Helt okej hotell, bra service och rent.”

“Mycket prisvärt! Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Mysiga rum. Centralt läge på en ganska lugn gata. ”

“I really loved the location of the hotel. There were plenty of shops, restaurants, and nightlife nearby, which made it so convenient and fun. The room was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good too. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place if you’re traveling to Nepal!”

“We had a lovely stay at Jay suites and they helped us organise transport in the morning, the room we chose had a kitchen with everything you need.”

He has done challenges to work with, such as excessive noise from within the hotel due to an open staircase. It starts about 6:30 am with Oreo for Brfk down in the lobby ( all way up to higher levels) and really continues all day. Noise from outside is minimal. Breakfast is a nice selection. Bathroom is very small- two people don’t fit. Needs a bit of sprucing up; water noise...

“Unfortunately not a very good hotel. The air conditioner is blowing right in the bed, making it impossible to turn it on when you sleep. And when you turn the AC off there is no air left in the room. And unfortunately, it is not possible to open the window. So no ventilation in the room at all. When you shower the water from the shower goes into the bedroom. And you can smell mold in the room. The staff was however very friendly and tried to help us, but in the end, we had to change the hotel....
