“... but this is not the case. For the xxx euro/night I payed I expected more comfort. There are far better hotels for this kind of money in the region.
The main complain is bad sound insulation. If you get a room towards the garden where the restaurant is you will hear all the guest talking until late night. You will hear them in the morning too of cause. Unless you sleep too deep because you are tired of not being able to sleep the whole night. :-)

“My favorite place to stay in Kathmandu. Santos the Manager and Anu at the front desk are both excellent and very helpful. The 15% discount on food for the Roadhouse Cafe Restaurant is also very helpful for guests. The breakfast is delicious. Will definitely stay here again. ”

“Located in the centre of the noise and chaos of Thamel means that sleep quality can be severely affected, depending on the location of your room. So many clubs crammed into the area that noise vibrates tgriygh walls and windows. Staff did their best to relocate on request however. Rooms vary greatly in size and layout. The outdoor rooftop is a nice space to get away from the chaotic streets below.”

“Really nice hotel, fantastic staff. Very clean. Excellent breakfast with a good range of options. Good location and generally quiet at night. The rooms are quite light at night - there’s an odd “night light” that you can’t turn off (we covered it in pillows, it’s just by the door at ground level). You also aren’t allowed to bring in any food or drink from outside at all (like nothing) or the “hotel will fine you” which seemed a bit extreme. They do provide 2 bottles of water a day though which...
