“Property clean though obviously on this lodging is on the older side. Staff friendly & helpful. An in-room refrigerator made occasional (electrical? mechanical? not sure) sounds throughout the night that were noticeable but not sleep disruptive. Room prices were good for such accommodation. I would book here again.”

“A severely overpriced motel in a rotten state, cashing in on the fact that it sits at the gates to Olympic. The rooms were worn down, the pool area horrendous, and the general vibe just awful. Cleanliness can also be discussed - I did see a very large bug, very likely a cockroach, run off to hide under our bed. Considering the price point, not at all worth it. In retrospect, I would have gladly paid twice as much for a better hotel experience. ”

“To me this was a unique building with an interesting history. There is an art gallery inside and works of art throughout the lobby etc. that is definitely worth viewing. My bed was good. Some cobwebs on the pipes near the ceiling. Came with a little spider in the bathtub - was not an issue but for some maybe. Note that there is no a/c in the room that I had. The hotel is right on the ocean so unless there is a major heatwave inland, no a/c would rarely be a problem for most people imo.”

“Beautiful setting, but paper-thin walls made it hard to relax We booked Woodland Bluff Lodge for a romantic getaway based on the marketing — cozy suite, private balcony, secluded retreat — and the location itself is genuinely lovely. But the soundproofing (or complete lack of it) undermined the experience. “Not worth the price. For 180 a night one would expect more. Much more. Funny smelling rooms that has not been renovated since the early 90:s probably. Paperthin windows and walls/ceilings combined with loud traffic noises is not a good mix. Add noisy neighbors and… bingo. The staff was superfriendy and helpfull. Excellent service. Unfortunately they have nothing to work with.”
