Mayford Studio is a cosy one-bedroom studio apartment nestled close to the centre of Durham, renowned for its historic architecture. Conveniently situated within walking distance of all of Durham’s attractions, Mayford Studio offers easy access to the historic Durham Cathedral which towers over the city, as well as opportunities to relax by the river or enjoy a delicious meal in one of the city's many top-class restaurants.

The Space:
Mayford Studio is a couple-friendly studio apartment boasting a double bed, an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, and a spacious shower room, along with wonderful high ceilings and vast natural light throughout.

Fully furnished with the perfect blend of classic and contemporary decor, and a combination of plush luxury carpeting and hardwood flooring, the studio is the perfect getaway for solo travellers, romantic couple getaways, and even corporate stays!

The living and dining area offers plenty of relaxing space with a sofa and a flat screen TV for entertainment. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the room with natural light.

In the well-equipped kitchen, you'll find everything you need for home-cooked meals, including an oven, hob, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer, and even a washing machine for added convenience.

The bathroom is fitted with a WC, wash basin, and a modern walk-in shower.

The double bed, located to the rear of the living and kitchen space, features stylish design accents such as gold and purple cushion pillows and throws, bedside lamp, and a wardrobe for your storage needs.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Mayford Studio are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to check-in.

Pay and display parking is available nearby.

There isn’t a washing machine in Mayford Studio itself, but in there is a communal laundry room located on the ground floor.

We arrived at 11 at night and even though the reservation was made 6 months earlier, they told us they couldn’t acomódate us because they have some issues with the building entrance code and the password they gave us didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it that night. Finally after somebody enter to the building we were able to get in. The apartment was very nice and clean. Great location. But the experience with the property management was terrible.
