“Nice location very clean friendly and helpful staff the only place I want to stay while I’m working in Newcastle ”

“Basically a dorm room. TV didn’t work. Shower drain didnt work. The bed was awful. Noises construction outside the window. Construction workers looking into the room. I would not call this a VIP anything”

“The whole process of being able to stay there was awful. I had emails asking me to verify my identity but no correct link sent. I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked. Having finally been sent a link I verified and arrived to be told this was very common. At the property Fire Doors were constantly janmed open.”

“Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. ”

“0/5 – Worst stay of my life. Plummer House Newcastle was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room was filthy on arrival — dirty sink and work surfaces, stained floors, damaged furniture, worn cabinets, filthy fridge, marked and stained chairs, and mugs that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. This is not “student accommodation” or “serviced living” — it’s neglect. The female manager was rude and unprofessional, even trying to make me check out 12 hours earlier...

“Me and my 2 friends booked this holiday for 3 nights for a festival called Lost minds. We were wary at first as it’s a shared apartment with other people. Long story short we ended up booking and had absolutely no issue with the area or the people who was staying in the apartment. It’s round about 20/25 minute walk from the city centre & it’s easy accessible to get an uber also. We will definitely be booking when we come back to Newcastle. Only thing we never liked was NO TV & shared bathroom...

"Bra hotell med bra personal. Vi hade problem med wifi i vårt och de försökte lösa det utan att lyckas, men vi löste det med ett rumsbyte. Hotellet är ju lita gammalt, men mysigt och charmigt. Bra läge mittemot järnvägsstationen. "

"På grund av en akut kallelse till hjärtoperation blev det en lång och emotionell dag som tog väldigt mycket energi. Utan att ha något bestämt boende löste vi det och är så otroligt tacksamma för bemötandet vi fick här av Kristina och hennes kollegor i receptionen. De märkte snabbt att vi var i behov av att bara få andas och hämta igen oss och gav verkligen allt och lite till för att visa vilka förstående och empatiska människor de var. Dagen efter fick den opererade vila ut på rummet extra länge medans barnen fick vara och leka i poolen. Välbehövligt och tacksamt för alla inblandade! Tack!"
