“Lovely, quiet, hotel in a residential area very close to the River Trent. Ample free parking, although the staff will need a note of your vehicle registration. Our superior king size room was fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is an in room kettle, tea, coffee etc as well as a coffee machine with pods Although we were only there for one night there was plenty of space in the wardrobe and there were also lots of hangers - which makes a refreshing change....

“My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was unable to access my room because the door code provided did not work. I had to contact reception and wait approximately 10 minutes on the phone before a replacement code was issued. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. “Convenient location just next to tram station and near shopping centre. Originally booked wrong room type, but staff was very helpful changing to a family room for us which is much appreciated.”

“The room was dirty including the ‘clean’ bedding which was hairy. The bed was built by Ikea flat pack and someone’s hopes and dreams which did not come true - it creaked with every move! The room was spacious but what’s the point! It was hot with limited windows to open because of H&S but I had to prop one open with a spoon as the restrictor was broken. Only one set of towels despite the booking being for 2 people. The location is heart of city centre which was perfect except for noise until 3am...
