“We had a lovely stay out in the bush, in the picturesque Huia Bay. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and exactly as pictured with amenities like a hair dryer, and a microwave that aren’t visible in the original photos.Chanae and her husband were super helpful and welcoming - they provided extra citronella candles and a few different dishes for the kitchen based on my cooking plans. “The rooms were smaller than I had imagined, there are cracks in the tiles in the main kitchen area. It’s very noisy during the night with what sounds like large fans or rangehoods from below restaurants going solidly from 2am. There may be quieter rooms. ”

“Idyllic location in the trees. Very accommodating host. Five-minute walk to small shopping area with half a dozen restaurants. Room itself is nice but very small; we were traveling with a lot of luggage and felt cramped. Path from covered parking to room is steep and not really suited for dragging all those bags up and down. We'd love to stay again when we were traveling with a normal amount of luggage. ”
