“The property is great with nice amenities, like a hot tub, and plenty of parking. It is a walking distance to the farmer's market, the Trellis Cafe, and the local grocery and NSLC. The kitchen is well equipped, and comfortable. We appreciated the A/C during the sweltering heatwave. The host is amazing at communicating.. Would definitely rent again”

“This property did not live up to its expectation. The unit was dirty and required extensive cleaning. The unit smelled of cigarette smoke upon entering. The recycling bin in the kitchen was full upon arrival. The sheets had stains on them and the bedsheet was yellow on the underside. The host did offer to send someone to clean our concerns and offer a change of bedding; but that does not really ease the mind given all the cleaning and everything else that we had to address. “Overall the Little Gem was clean and well-appointed. Fans needed to be cleaned. And no cooktop to speak of because there was a wood shelf barely a foot above. Providing an arial view of the location of the condo and the condo number would have been helpful to us when arriving in the deep dark of night.”

“We were 2 people for 3 days but there were only 3 coffee pods. The air freshener was overwhelming. The kitchen utensils were scarce. There were dirty dishes. One area seating chair was bottomed out. Bath mat may have been vacuumed but it desperately needed to be washed. The grab bar in the bathroom was a bonus. The linens were good. Assigned parking was limited. Good dining close by,”

“Nice to have all the appliances and be able to do our laundry. Good location, Wilma was a responsive host. They need better signage - the building has a barber shop in it and 3 people coming for a haircut ended up knocking on our door because they couldn't find the entrance, which is through the Bubble Tea shop. Noisy in the day time but okay for sleeping.”

“The location and the history of the house were great. The rooms were nice and clean but unfortunately sound dampening was not considered in the original renovation, room to room noise was loud.”
