“The hotel had no record of any booking made thru hotel.com, did get a room but what would have happened if fully booked. Clean and comfortable room. Dirty pool. Beach closed for swimming, large signs with "Prohibited ...." ?? Arrogant restaurang personel”

“We had a lovely 5 days at the Conch. It is a 10 minute tuktuk ride into Whitetown in Pondicherry, so very accessible but a little quieter which we preferred. The rooms are clean and spacious with an amazing private pool (can be a bit chilly when you jump in!). We had several meals whilst staying and the food was overall incredible - it’s homemade and full of flavour with plenty of variety. We’d recommend the Conch to anyone looking to visit Pondicherry.”

“Initially it was not comfortable. But subsequently after talking to the staff, some improvements were done and thereafter it was comfortable.”

“Nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Room adjacent via a locked door til next door room, so at times somewhat noisy. Aircon hard to adjust, so had to turn if off when it got too cold. Very old and very small TV. Tray with left over food from another room left in corridor for the most part of 24 hours and after it was removed still some food stuff left on the corridor floor - due to personel being overworked due to huge turn over of guests at the time..”
