“Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay. Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too. We’d highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look...

“Yes breakfast was great, the room was clean but could do with being updated a bit, The staff were fantastic very polite and helpful went out of their way to accommodate anything we needed, parking on site was good. The hotel is in a fab location.We both enjoyed our stay & would recommend this hotel to our family & friends. ”

“Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall.”

“Lovely stay at Meadhon House as part of a Borders exploration trip. Easy walking distance to Jedburgh Abbey and town centre. The room was beautifully furnished and very well appointed. Breakfast was very tasty with good options. Lovely warm welcome from Amanda and Rob - turns out it is a very small world indeed! We shall return if ever back in the area. ”

“All Staff were excellent, Food was excellent, room was lovely. My only niggle (and it is a niggle) was that our room also had the upstairs fire escape door - which was not mentioned at all (ie, what to do in event of a fire and whether our bedroom was the fire escape access for all the rooms in our section).”
