“It's a motor hotel, so you know it's not fancy when you book it. What made it great was that it clean, the staff made a very late check in (1AM) very easy, and it was much more reasonable price than other hotels in the area. It's a no frills but very clean and well run place. Would definitely book again when I'm in the area. Friendly staff too.”

“My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. “Outdoor area was kept up nice! Liked the fact that there was wood provided for a fire! Had to purchase fire starter. Grill was charcoal fueled. Cabin has a cool vibe! Very clean! Furniture is comfortable. The heat didn’t flow well into bedrooms and bath. Light switches were confusing, signage for switches would be helpful. Amenity list could be updated (Keurig and coffee maker both available). It would be nice if some games were provided as well as scissors and lighter for fire/charcoal....

If we had been there another night would have surely enjoyed the bon fire pit nd lounging outside. Our very only minor complaint would be that we do not have streaming services so navigating the TV late at night was a struggle without instructions. “The Sanctuary is a magical place carved into nature where for a short time the weary traveler can rest their body and their soul. The deer, beavers, swans and cranes were excellent hosts. The cabin is spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The human hosts are also gracious and welcoming. I've stayed there twice and hope to return again. ”

“Very decent place to stay! The facility was clean and the staff was super great! I didn't use the hot tub-some kids had been in there earlier and there was a strange foam roiling atop the water later so it didn't appeal. The gym is a very tiny room with 2 bikes and a treadmill jammed into it, so I wouldn't count on that being super useful. There was no hair conditioner available, which seemed odd-I stopped packing it, so I was out of luck. The in-room hair dryer was by far the worst I've ever...
