The Orchard at Lovers Lane and Enchanted Forest. Hot Tub, Pets Welcome

  • Come slip away to our Orchard on beautiful Orcas Island. On an acre and a half of land you will find various apples, pears, cherries, plums and blueberries (based on the season). An oversized yard for playing sports, family games or maybe simply watching the local deer roam around or the gaze at the beautiful stars at night.
    The home features 3 bedrooms plus an additional Bonus room that features a king size bed, a small living area and office area with a desk, chair and printer. There are 2.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, formal dining area, kitchen and living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace that will warm the entire 2100 square foot home. There is plenty of room for everyone.
    If you prefer to be outside, come soak in the 6-person hot tub. We keep it in pristine condition and heated all year round. Once you're done soaking stay nice and warm around the firepit with a nice cacao or glass of wine and breathe in the clean Orcas air.
    There are so many exciting things to do! Just a short walk into our little Hallmark village you'll find astonishing chefs curating mouthwatering dishes, local artists composing jewelry and paintings, Bakers and gift shops. There is a grocery store and a co-op and during the first week of May till the last weekend in September in the village green (the heart of Eastsound you'll find our farmers Market. Don't forget to book a tour for whale watching, kayaking or perhaps your favorite book

Great location easy 5-10 min walk to town. The yard was amazing, house well stocked and beautiful decor. Our family of eight adults were very comfortable there and look forward to another teip to Orcas in the future!

We love this house! Very clean, very comfortable, has great amenities like the hot tub, fireplace and very nice large primary suite. It's in a great location where it feels very private but is only a few minutes walk from downtown Eastsound. Definitely recommend this place.

Excellent. I normally have everything prepared and planned before I arrive at a rental property, however the host here anticipates all of the guests needs before they even make it to the island. The app only gives 5 stars but it was above and beyond. I cant wait to come again!

Love this house! It is beautiful, welcoming, has a well stocked kitchen, and good beds with nice linens. It is very conveniently located to the town. It is everything one would want in a home away from home.

Amazing stay!

The property is close to town yet has a wonderful backyard retreat private feel. The hot tub, fire pit, kitchen and bedrooms are perfect for a family get together. Kristen was easy to work with and helped our stay feel extra special!

Orcas island adventure

This was a perfect house for our family to gather during Spring Break. It was perfectly situated so we could walk to town easily but still have a sense of being in the country. The house was very well maintained and we had everything we needed to make our stay a perfect relaxing getaway. We all agreed that we would recommend this house to anyone who is thinking of an Orcas Island adventure.

We loved this house and the surrounding yard! The home was a comfortable space for 6 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home is a short walk to a great grocery store, restaurant or down to the sound. We also enjoyed the outdoor living spaces such as the deck, hot tub, gorgeous yard and patio spaces. We would definitely book this house again if we visit the island.

The property was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed! Kristen was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The property had a lot of flexibility for a mixed group: space to work, play, and socialize. It is also within very easy walking distance to town along pedestrian paths.

Relaxing and Peaceful and Convenient

What a lovely property! The dogs loved romping around the backyard; we had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals to enjoy around the table. Hot tub was relaxing; everything was clean. There were thoughtful touches throughout, and communication was effortless! Def recommend and we would stay here again. (Two family getaway to celebrate high school graduations.)

Lovely home

Thank you for a wonderful stay in a lovely house. House was walking distance to Eastsound shops and restaurants. Everything we needed in the house. Comfy beds and very quiet at night. All the bedrooms are really spacious, particularly the upstairs masters.

Perfect home for a family gathering

This was our second time booking this home for a family vacation, so we obviously think it’s amazing. It is a lovely property within walking distance to town. Kitchen is well equipped and home is clean. It is very peaceful with the exception of an occasional small airplane landing at the nearby airport. There were no planes during the night. Kristen was responsive and easy to communicate with. Easy check in.

We were thrilled to find this gem of a rental, and Kristen was able to accommodate our large family! We needed the four bedrooms and also happy to have 2 1/2 bathrooms, plus a meticulously maintained hot tub with tub towels provided. The reservation and check in went smoothly. She was very responsive when I had questions and allowed an early check in. The whole house was very clean and tidy, with plenty of thick luxurious Turkish towels in each bathroom. It felt like I was in a luxury spa. Even makeup cloths are provided! Kitchen has most all of your cooking and baking needs (we checked ahead to find out there are no glass pyrex baking dishes for cakes and casseroles, so brought our own). She stocks lots of nice dishes as well as some melamine/ plastic things for casual or children- perfect. We had plenty of kitchen linens and detergents, which we usually have to beg for at other VRBOs. The double oven and huge ice-through-the-door refrigerator are top of the line and much appreciated! Kristen even provides coffee beans and a grinder too. I found many spices and seasonings in the cupboard as well as foil, plastic wrap and storage containers. There were welcome goodies too (won't spoil your surprise !) and toys & games (even cornhole) for all. The orchard and yard are so quaint, we set up a tripod and took family photos out there. The kids got a kick out of the airplanes flying low to land in the airport close by. It was a charming experience overall.

Great Orcas Island Home for a Family Trip

My family had never been to Orcas Island and Kristen's home was perfect for the weekend! It was spacious inside and there was more than enough space for the 6 of us plus our dog (with an extra bed room to spare!). The kitchen was well equipped (we cooked several meals) and the backyard is really sweet with lots of fruit trees. The home is also only a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) into East Sound which was so convenient. Kristen was super easy to communicate with before the trip. We had such a lovely time -- the home was comfortable, all in all a great experience! Highly recommend staying here if you find yourself with a group on Orcas Island.
