The Dean Galway was the highlight of my trip and one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. The standout feature was undoubtedly the pool and wellness area. I happened to visit during one of the warmest weeks of July and made full use of the pool, sauna, and cold plunge several times a day. Not only were these facilities practical and refreshing, but the entire area was beautifully designed and felt like a genuine luxury retreat. The hotel's design is exceptional throughout. The room was stylish, modern, and thoughtfully designed, and I was fortunate enough to receive a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Waking up to that view each morning felt incredibly luxurious and added so much to the overall experience. What truly sets The Dean apart, however, is its people. Every member of staff I encountered was warm, welcoming, and professional, from the reception team and lobby bar staff to the wellness area team and restaurant staff. It genuinely felt like everyone cared about ensuring guests had a great stay. The breakfast was also a highlight. There was a good selection, the quality was excellent, and the staff made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The location is another major advantage, with Galway's city centre, train station, restaurants, pubs, and attractions all within easy walking distance.Special credit goes to the staff, whose friendliness and professionalism elevated an already fantastic hotel into a truly memorable stay.
