“Property located on top of the cliff. It has good view from the room with hot tub but beside there are nothing, the road condition is very unsafe to drive around so can stay out late, building condition is not good so can hear your next room conversation at all time. ”

“The house we rented in Tunquen is a magical place indeed. The view right on the cliff edge can entertain you for weeks, so does the remoteness and the fact all you hear is birds and the waves of the sea. We stayed 4 nights and were grateful to have shopped in a bigger supermarket near Santiago, as there really isn’t much around there apart from some very small shops with some essentials, but for me that was all part of the charm. “Excellent family run hotel. New renovations and extremely clean. Great view of the ocean and a short walk to a nice retail center with shopping and a casino. The family (Gonzalo, Paula and Julio) that run the hotel are very kind and helpful. Great place to stay.”

“ I had a very nice stay at the Puerto Mayor. It was a good value for the cost especially since it included breakfast. The hotel personnel were pleasant and the room was quiet. I stayed there before a cruise and the cab ride to the terminal only took a few minutes. That was a real convenience. The hotel was within sight of the ship and no hotel was any nearer. I got to San Antonio by bus from Santiago and the taxi ride from the bus terminal to the hotel only took about 15 minutes.”

“Clean room, close to cruise port and helpful staff. Mall with restaurants right next to hotel. Uber will take you to cruise ship. Also, quaint fishing village on the beach in front of hotel. We watched 50+ sea lions feed off the fishermen cleaning fish. We really enjoyed this hotel.”

“What a wonderful place to stay. The room was spotless and beautiful. The hostess and host bend over backward to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was delicious. The one suggestion I would make is that they have a list of local restaurants so we could look them up on Google maps. They really close, eight or nine minutes walking distance away. We can recommend Captain Willy, it was great.”
