“We love staying in Monument, but this redone garage needs serious TLC. Stained furniture, damaged paint/wall in living room. Can’t sit at kitchen table because chairs are too tall. Afraid to turn on stove with tilted electric coils. Vent in bathroom didn’t work. Broken bed (we opted for privacy over repair). Broken washing machine that we asked to have repaired but despite reassurances that the housekeeping staff would be responding, was not even looked at. One positive was really good water...

The location was great for us, rural with beautiful nature and mountain views, but no more than 15 minutes from a suburban area with a grocery store and lots of restaurants. The home was cozy and comfortable. We loved morning coffee on the deck. When we come back to the area, we would definitely stay there again.”
