“Lovely hostel in a great location -- especially enjoyed the curtained beds which made sleeping easy and great breakfast! Generally good cleanliness, although did see a cockroach in the hallway one evening. Also, the rooms did get really hot in the evening and it was hard to bring the temperature down, but if you don't mind a toasty room it wasn't too bad. ”

“The location is excellent. It's close by to the light rail station and bus stop. It's also close to the beach! Plenty of dining option nearby. The facilities are also great. I especially like the lounge area. Most importantly, I feel safe staying there as a solo female traveller. Feedback: The pillow case and the blanket in my single room has stains on them. ”

“Mycket bra läge, men väldigt ofräscha rum, fönster som inte går att öppna och en i princip ofungerande hiss. Köket var jättestort men det fanns knappt några redskap och inga bestick. Fungerar om man bara vill ha ett billigt ställe att sova på och om man vill ha nära till Darling harbour t.ex.”

“The place was clean and bright and light, which was lovely. Website says towels are provided but you are then asked to pay $15 to hire a towel (and this is not a straightforward process). The rule about not talking in the bedrooms seems too strict (what if you and your roommate/s want to talk??). Also, there is no lounge space to hang out (perhaps a table and chairs in the landing area?).”

“Left after 1 night of a 3 night stay in a dorm. Mold in the bathroom. Beds shook wildly with any slight movement at all. The pillows had large stains and the blanket didn’t smell cleaned. I’ve stayed at hostels in dorms all over the world, and this one had the most inconsiderate guests ever. French people talking on their phones loudly all through the night. The reviews on this place made me book, but they are terribly inaccurate. ”
