“De tog för mycket betalt, när jag påpekade detta vid utcheckning ville receptionisten inte ta reda på vad som var fel. Jag var tvungen att ringa kundservice på Hotels.com så att de ringde hotellet och rätta till receptionistens misstag. Inte så bra.”

“This motel is literally a cross between a horror and substance abuse movie set. I was overcharged through Expedia to stay there, so that made it worse. There are pot holes and no arrows or markings in road area with a building creating a blind turn. The stairs were too narrow, railings too low and the exterior rail shook when you walked (to a second floor room). The room looked ok, nothing fancy but decent condition. “The Schenectady county fair was being held right outside the hotel. It was a disaster to get into the hotel parking lot because of road closures for the fair. The music was extremely loud in the rooms until 10:30 PM. Toms of people just lingering, smoking pot in the parking lot and entrance, The hosts were great, the rooms and grounds were clean but very old and worn. “This historic landmark inn is huge. The rooms have high ceilings and antique features with comfortable beds and amenities. If modern is what you need, then this is not your place. It is historic and beautiful and awesome staff. There is so much to marvel over in this Inn. There is a lovely café on site in the rear lobby that has delicious coffees and bagels.”

“We originally booked the super 8 hotel across the street and were saved by the holiday inn. The staff was curious, the hotel was clean and inviting, the pool was large and well organized, the restaurant was a breath of fresh air with a lovely menu and separate bar area. Bathrooms were large and clean sign updated brands for complimentary products. Would highly recommend only staying here if you’re in the area.”
