“The property is located on the outskirts of Tannersville. The location is very close to hiking including the iconic Kaaterskill Falls. Unfortunately, the location is overshadowed by a very disappointing property. Its essentially run down motel in the back of a closed restaurant with a for sale sign out front. The building was not very clean and no staff were on site. The pictures are also a bit misleading as the restaurant is now closed and the grounds have deteriorated since the closure. The...

“Very clean and comfortable. Wonderfully decorated and over looking a series of peaceful ponds / small lakes. Host was very helpful and easy to communicate. Will look to stay there again for future visits to the area.”

“It was even nicer than it looked in the photos. The beds were very comfortable and location regarding short distance from ski mountains and Ellicottville was great. It was so sweet too that they had snacks and a bottle of wine out as a welcome gift when we arrived. Loved this place. ”

“Over several years of renting in the Valatie area, this house was the nicest place we’ve stayed. It’s well appointed and has a really nice view of the lake.The owner is very responsive to any issue that arises. Hope to return!”

“Sweet chalet, built around 1890 and fully restored, nestled in a rural, wooded area. So fun to roam the property and speculate about the long life of the houses, outbuildings and the area. Canandaigua Lake is big and beautiful yet everything you could need is within a 15 minute drive - including Wegman's! The hostess was responsive throughout the listing process. We didn't need to ask for anything special but feel confident Rebecca would have been accommodating. Perfect long-weekend getaway!”
