  • Välkommen till vår Rocky Mountain-flykt! När vår familj på åtta köpte denna .5 tunnland mycket var målet att göra semestern kul igen, varför vi designade detta hem från grunden inklusive överraskningar runt varje hörn från ett doldt lekrum för barn till en enorm uteplats byggd för 300+ dagar av Colorado solen! Som infödda i norra Colorado förstår vi att det är dyrbart att komma till bergen. Vi är ödmjuka och glada över att du vill fly och njuta av lite av det vi kallar Guds land!

    Hemmet är en 1600 SF 3-säng, 2. 5 badrum, modernt, bergsbostadshus som är hälften av en duplex. Den andra hälften finns också som hyra om du har en större grupp (info väntar). Det öppna konceptets vardagsrum har massor av ljus och massor av fönster som bjuder in utomhus inuti.

    Den enorma uteplatsen har en stor uteplats, HOT TUB, propangrill och eldstad. Från uteplatsen är utsikten vidöppen med utsikt över dedikerade öppna ytor mot en blandning av vit mössa och foten av fjällen. Älg och rådjur älskar den intilliggande ängen och vi älskar att de älskar den!

    Det finns en vacker master reträtt med en king size-säng på huvudnivån med ytterligare två sovrum och ett badrum på övervåningen. Det andra sovrummet har en lyxig drottningssättning och det tredje sovrummet har 2 uppsättningar våningssängar, båda tvilling över hela, och ett hemligt lekrum med leksaker, spel och massor mer. Vår familj på åtta passar mycket bekvämt i hemmet men vi försökte också skapa ett hem som var inbjudande till fester av 2-4.

    När vi föreställde oss detta get-a-way såg vi vår familj vandra eller njuta av Estes under dagen och komma hem hem till en familje-centrerad miljö där gammaldags spel trivs. Även om hemmet har kabel-TV, Wifi, fyra HD-TV-apparater och en DVD-spelare, är det laddat med brädspel, ett fotbollsbord, pussel, kort och barnböcker och leksaker.

    Beläget på västra sidan av staden, är huvudentrén till Rocky Mountain National Park precis längs vägen och centrum av Estes Park är cirka 2-3 miles bort.

Great house and amenities

The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor patio, fire pit, and hot tub, and the location and views are great. Our grandchildren visited one day and had lots of fun with all of the kids' activities. We'd love to stay here again.

Great for families with young kids!

We stayed with our 3 kids (ages 2, 4 and 6) and they loved the bunk beds and playroom! The other rec room would be great for older kids. The home was clean and comfortable and a perfect location for exploring the park.

The Summit

Everything we were hoping for. Beautiful views of the mountain ranges from the back front and actually all sides of the house. Elk and deer roaming the backyard. Close to downtown and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Would definitely stay here again. The grandkids loved the secret toy room.

Beautiful house with all the amenities you'll need.

The cleanliness of this well appointed home and panoramic views will take your breath away, and not just because of the elevation. Everything was perfect and the plush patio with fire pit and hottub looking at the Rockies can't be beat. We will definitely return. Thanks to Justin and Elaina.

Fall Family Getaway

This VRBO was exactly what we expected, and a perfect place for our family trip. Our family of 5 had more than enough room with a King bed, queen bed, 3 doubles and 2 twins. The hot tub with Mountain View’s was a favorite every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our meals, and the coffee pot worked well and there were filters and Folgers—thank you! Access to the town of Estes and Rocky Mountain national park were easy from the property location. Parking was good in the driveway of the property. We would definitely book this property again on our next trip to the area.

We had a wonderful week in Estes Park at this property. Pros:Kids loved the bunk room, "secret fort", game room and hot tub.Location. Perfect central location to get to park entrance and trail heads. Downtown in less than ten minutes for adventures/shopping /dinner on the river walk.Well-equipped: Bathrooms had plenty of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap. More than enough laundry detergent and dish washer detergent for the week. Lots of dishes, including plastic cups, etc for kids/outside use. Activities: Lots of board games/toys etc. Cons:No A/C, no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. This was a BIG adjustment for us and took about a day and a half to figure out how to best manage the heat. We figured it out by the end, but ceiling fans in each bedroom would make a world of difference. Cleanliness: no issues for the most part, but there was one unwashed plate and one unwashed pan in the kitchen cabinet when we arrived. Not the best first impression.Oscillating fans. The bathrooms were each equipped with 1 - 2 oscillating fans which were very necessary. One fan broke mid-way thru the week and when we tried to fix it, found the blades caked in dust. When I messaged the owners about a replacement fan, I did not receive a response. Overall, this was a lovely property with owners whom have put a lot of care into making it work well for families. With more attention to cleaning and the addition of ceiling fans, we would certainly stay here again!

Great location, could use some love.

We stayed here for four nights for my son's birthday and while we really enjoyed the location of this property, there were a few negatives that overshadowed the positives for us. I'll start with the pros. As previously mentioned, the location is wonderful being so close to the entry station for RMNP. It also backs to open space and lovely mountain views. Loved all the toys that the owners provided, my son had the best time playing with them. There is ample seating in the dining room for large families and a well stocked kitchen. As for the cons, it wasn't as clean as I had hoped. I kept finding hair in various places (sheets, floors, etc) but possibly the biggest issues for me was the beds. They were so uncomfortable, like sleeping on a rock. I got very little sleep the first night and ended up moving to the couch for the rest of the stay. I would not stay here again due to that issue but if you like a very firm mattress then this likely wouldn't be an issue for you.

Comfortable and great view

Our family loved our stay! The house was perfect for us (we have 4 kids ranges 4-10 and the toys and bunk room were a hit!). On our last evening about 21 female elk and their young were grazing in the backyard/field, which is huge and has beautiful mountains as the backdrop (incredible sunrises and sunsets). They walked around the house and were up close and incredible! The house is a perfect location if you plan on visiting RMNP, the entrance is a quick and easy 7min drive. It’s also close to downtown Estes Park where there’s lots of fun restaurants and shops, but the house is located down a country road away from all the touristy area so you feel “in the mountains”. We would definitely stay here again. The house and beds were comfortable and we all got great nights sleep. We had a little trouble at check in (had the wrong code for the door), but Justin was quick to respond and get us the correct code. Highly recommend this property!

This place was a joy to stay at. We really enjoyed everyone having a separate bed.

Overall, this place was nice. The hot tub could have been a touch warmer, but all things considered it was worth the money!

Beautiful house. Very clean. Lots of games and activities for kids. Great location close to Estes Park with beautiful views. Homeowners were very accommodating. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Would want to stay here again on our next visit to Estes Park and RMNP!

Beautiful home

This house is so clean and beautiful. We loved the location, it was close to everything but out of the busy area. We loved the view in the backyard and the patio area. We even had a deer visit a few times.The kids LOVED the toy room, the bunk beds, and the hot tub.The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the decor was so nice. We loved our time here and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful home with spectacular views!

Wow! We absolutely loved our weekend stay. The views from the kitchen, living room and patio are hard to describe, but we loved being able to see the mountains from pretty much anywhere inside and out. Everything was spotless, the kitchen was thoroughly appointed (even a full spice rack!) and the furniture and beds were plush and comfortable. As a group of girlfriends seeking a chance to reconnect and enjoy the beauty of the Rockies, it was more than we could’ve hoped for — and the hot tub under the stars was glorious! We also appreciated the privacy of the property and the ease of the keyless entry. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Great stay in a wonderful property

It was snowing when we arrived. We got there about 45 minutes early and they were finishing up preparing for us. We met the hot tub guy there and he was just finishing cleaning the tub to Covid 19 specifications. The place was great. Everything worked and they had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It snowed over night and when we got up they had already cleared the snow off the entry way. Someone shoveled the walk and they plowed. We loved sitting in the hot tub as it was snowing and the views were amazing. We brought our adult kids with us and there was plenty of room. The house was decorated for Christmas. The internet and cable was everything we could have expected (my daughter worked from location without any hiccups. The owners responded quickly when we reached out to them prior to arriving and after we left. We loved our stay.
