Summer Guests- This home has air conditioning which is very rare in Estes Park!!

Riverside Lodge is perfectly situated with prime upstream and downstream views of the Big Thompson River. Top it all off with the backdrop of Prospect Mountain and you have the perfect Rocky Mountain retreat.

From Riverside Lodge it is just a short walk into the Town of Estes Park and an easy 1.5 mile drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.

The main level great room has a gas fireplace to gather at with river and mountain views all around...no artwork needed on these walls! This is simply the ideal family gathering place with its adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room area. Gaze out to take in the perfectly clear Colorado sky, river and mountain views!!

From the great room you can step out to a fantastic deck to enjoy excellent mountain views along with the sights and sounds of the Big Thompson River! Take it all in while enjoying a cup of morning coffee, evening glass of wine, reading a good book or cooking dinner on the gas grill!

The cozy master bedroom en suite is also located on the main level (king bed). Open the windows and let the sounds of the Big Thompson lull you to sleep.

A second family room is located in the lower level along with 2 bedrooms (one king bed and 2 twins) and a full bath with tub/shower. There is a queen size pullout sofa in the common area. From this level you can walk out onto the covered patio and spot elk and other wildlife moseying along the Big Thompson River! Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the view!

A two car attached garage space comes with this rental. There is also a main floor laundry room.

As our guest you will enjoy access to HOA-shared common fishing areas along the Big Thompson river.

Wildlife sightings abound with frequent visits from elk, deer, wild turkeys and even an occasional bobcat.

Need we go on... Riverside Lodge is perfect in every way... not just another vacation rental but a perfect mountain home!

**The rentals for this home are managed by Mark and Sue Werder (aka Good Neighbor Vacation Rentals) who live just a few miles away and are available to assist you with your stay! **

** The occupancy for this home is 8 total if at least 2 are children or 6 total if all adults. The 8 total includes day guests who must be approved by the manager. No weddings or other group events**

**Our cancellation policy is stated below. If you have any concern that you (or someone traveling with you) will not able to come because of possible future medical reasons (including Covid) and/or for some other reason then we suggest that you take out a trip insurance plan that would cover that potential situation.

**This community is a Firewise certified one. No smoking anywhere in or around this home and/or anywhere on the HOA shared grounds. Absolutely no charcoal grills or campfires permitted.

This place is amazing! The house was very clean and was stocked with everything you could think of. The views are unbelievable and the walking trail is so nice. We had an elk come up to the backyard within 15 minutes of being there and saw plenty of wildlife throughout our stay. Sue was great to work with. It was very obvious that she wanted us to enjoy her home and to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

We absolutely loved this property. We are already planning to come back in the winter. The main attraction is the creek outside that we spent most of our time, The beds were comfortable, and the property was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. I highly recommend this property.

This house was perfect. It had absolutely everything we needed. I've never stayed at a house that was so well stocked. Towels, paper goods, washer/dishwasher soap, etc was plentiful. There were even box fans in the closets if needed! The kitchen had everything I needed. The view of the river was amazing. We didn't want to go back home!

Wonderful!! Listen to the creek, watch the elk, 5 min to downtown Estes Park and to RMNP

This is a wonderful house. Lots of space, super clean, cozy yet spacious. Backs onto a river/creek where elk stroll by on a regular basis. It feels secluded and magical, but is only a 5 minute drive to RMNP and to downtown Estes Park. And there is a charming coffee shop that you can walk to that is on a little lake where you can feed ducks. We were so sad to leave!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at this condo! Of all the VRBO’s I’ve stayed at this was my favorite! It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We loved watching the snow fall and the elk cross in the river in the back! The location was perfect as well! We hope to be back soon!

Lovely location and great layout for a family!

Loved our stay on the river in Estes! Great location, lovely home, and great views. We saw elk, deer, and wild turkeys right outside our windows and along the path to and from Coffee on the Rocks:) Our communication with Sue, the host, was easy and very helpful.

Fall Vacation

We absolutely loved this house and location along the river. Every morning and evening we would see elk, deer and one evening we even seen a bear. The sound of the river was so peaceful. We would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Place to Call Home

Immaculate Cabin with River Views

We had a wonderful stay in Estes Park. The location of this home was perfect - we loved the views of the river and being able to walk along the path. Sue was very communicative and reached out with helpful info before and during our stay. The home is well-appointed and very convenient to both the town and RMNP. We would love to return someday for a longer visit!
