Familjen Shupe vill välkomna dig till vårt bergshem The Getaway! (Lic # 6166) Vårt mål är att göra din semester så minnesvärd som möjligt.

Hemmet är en 1600 SF 3-säng, 2. 5 badrum, modernt, bergsbostadshus som är hälften av en duplex. Den andra halvan finns också som hyra om du har en större grupp (VRBO # 1281527). Boområdet med öppet koncept har massor av ljus och stora vackra fönster som bjuder in utomhus in.

Den bakre uteplatsen har en fin uteplats, HOT TUB, propangrill och eldstad. Från uteplatsen ser utsikten över dedikerade öppna utrymmen mot en blandning av majestätiska vita kappade berg och foten. Älgen och hjortarna älskar den intilliggande ängen och ses betande ofta!

Det finns en trevlig master reträtt med en king size-säng på huvudnivån med ytterligare två sovrum och ett badrum på övervåningen. Det andra sovrummet har en drottning och det tredje sovrummet har 2 uppsättningar våningssängar.

Även om hemmet har två HD-TV-apparater med DVD-spelare, kabel-TV och WiFi är det också laddat med brädspel, kort och barnböcker och leksaker.

Detta hem ligger på den västra sidan av staden, mycket nära huvudentrén till Rocky Mountain National Park och ligger bara 2 miles från centrum av Estes Park.

Excellent Getaway House

Great house! Very clean with plenty of provided dishes, towels, etc. Excellent communication with owner prior to our visit. The garage game room was a hit with the kids. Would definitely stay again.

Rocky Mountain Perfection

Wife & I brought our oldest daughter out for a week in the Rockies. Perfect house/home for our stay. Great location, clean, comfortable, and the hot tub sealed the deal. Would highly recommend & hope we can stay here again.

Perfect family vacation spot

Four nights, five days in Estes park with 4 adults and 4 kids under 8 years old. The house was absolutely perfect. Plenty of space for everyone and incredibly clean! Loved the location on Mary’s Lake Road - made for easy access to the park without having to deal with all of the construction downtown. Absolutely loved our stay here! We visit Estes every few years and will definitely make a point to try and book here next time!!

Wonderful long weekend Holiday

The house is beautiful, the hot tub was relaxing and plenty of games to keep kids busy. Just a couple of suggestions, a broom would be super handy for everyday kid crumbs. There is a vacuum but not as quick and convenient as a broom. Some reusable grocery bags and a note regarding the charge if you don't have them would be a great addition to your book.

Perfect getaway

The house is perfect. So many little details have made our stay so special. The beds and pillows are AMAZING. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook instead of going out for meals. The patio and hot tub were great after long days of hiking in Rocky Mt National Park. Beautiful views of the Rockies and local wildlife from the den if it's too cold to be outside on the patio. Access to the national park was an easy, 5-min drive. Would 100% recommend this stay!

Unforgettable memories!

I was completely satisfied with this cabin! This cabin has everything you could want in a vacation getaway. The pictures doesn’t do the view justice. It was much more beautiful than we thought. The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

We had the best last minute get away. While it was short due to difficulty getting off of work, we had a wonderful time. House was spotless and in a great location. We had wonderful views with mule deer out our back window. The property owners are phenomenal and we will definitely come back! Home has everything and more, one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in!

Beautiful home & property. Very clean, lots of necessities supplied.

Our only issue was a minor one with the keyless entry but the owners responded immediately. The hot tub was amazing. If you are needing an incredible place to rent, look no further!!!

Family Wedding Weekend

We had two families staying at the Gateway for a family wedding. The house was great. It was well stocked with basic supplies including condiments, coffee and basic spices. The house was clean and the description was spot-on. We were close to town but far enough away to enjoy the open backyard and some wildlife. All appliances worked well and we appreciated having an iron and steamer to prep our wedding clothes! The owners even had a few snacks for us upon arrival! Great stay!

Great Family Friendly Vacation

Perfect place for a family getaway. The game room was wonderful for our 2.5 year old. The location was great and the views were superb. The place was well stocked with almost everything we could need for a few days. Everything was as-advertised. We had high expectations and they were somehow surpassed. We will almost certainly be returning sometime in the future.

Relaxing stay

We had the best stay at The Getaway! The property was everything listed and more. Convenient location with just a short drive to RMNP and to downtown shopping and resturaunts. The owners made sure we had everything we needed during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub & watching the elk come up in the back yard, grilling steaks on the grill and eating as a family, smores on the fire pit, game/movie night. We will definitely be back for future stays!!

Beautifully decorated and clean

This property is well taken care of and well stocked. It’s hard to pick a favorite thing about this place. It could be the amazing views, the hot tub looking onto open space, the fun rec room, or the double bunk beds! Definitely an amazing property!

Feels Like Home

This is our 2nd time staying at this condo and we just love how it feels like home. We always see elk in our "backyard" and love the hot tub and the outdoor fire place. It was very quiet, and easy to get some rest and unwind. The owners were very accommodating, and the communication was excellent. We will be back!

Great house, awesome location!

We stayed at The Getaway for 3 nights/4days and it was amazing! There is everything you could think of and more in this house. The game room was a lifesaver in the afternoon when the kids needed something to do. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking! When we travel we prefer to cook meals at home and every time we went to look for a certain item it was there! There was also a great stash of spices in the cabinet. The house was beautifully decorated not to mention absolutely spotless. We had 4 adults and 4 children in the house and it never felt cramped or crowded.

Wonderful amenities & convenient location

We stayed during the second week of August (our family of 5 which included 3 kids aged 5-10 plus one set of grandparents). This is a lovely, well-appointed property, and the owners have thought of everything! We've stayed in a number of vacation rentals in different states, and The Getaway is by far the nicest in terms of setup/layout as well as high-end finishes. The kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate, especially the master bathroom. The beds were comfy and our kids loved the bunk room. The owners have really thought of everything in terms of extras here, from having a library of hiking guidebooks, games and toys, to special towels for the hot tub to stocking the bathrooms and kitchen with toiletries and cleaning supplies and spices. The decor was tasteful, with a subtle nod to the mountains/outdoors without feeling like you were staying in the inside of a Cabela's (like so many mountain rentals)! Our family woke up early to hike every morning, so we spent afternoons & evenings relaxing at the house. The hot tub, patio, gas fire pit, and game room were used daily. The patio faces west so we saw the most amazing sunsets each night while enjoying the patio and hot tub. The location was perfect - out of the way near Mary's lake but only a few minutes from downtown Estes. There was a small grocery store/market just down the road for quick supply runs or to buy more wine. We loved our time here, The Getaway was perfect for our family vacation and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip back to Estes!

Gateway to the Rocky Mountains

My wife and I have used VRBO for family vacations for many years and had occasional times when the property didn’t live up to its billing. This property, however, exceeded our expectations at every turn. The owners have given great thought to every detail. You will feel welcomed. And the view out the back patio is just something you need to see for yourself. Staying here for the week was a pleasure.

One of the best rentals we’ve stayed in!

Everything in this property was planned out with guests in mind. The first thing we noticed upon entering was the clean smell! There were plenty of towels, paper goods, and basic spices/condiments. There were hampers in the closets that helped keep things tidy and USB Charging ports beside the beds. There were plenty of hooks to hang jackets and bags and even a welcome basket with goodies and coloring pencils. The location was convenient to downtown and the park, and we enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub at night. Our kids loved the toys, books, and foosball table. We would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

Beautiful property with great views, highly recommend

This is a high end property that will not disappoint you. It is comfortable and spacious with wonderful amenities including hot tub, game room, outdoor sitting/grilling area, well-stocked kitchen, and luxurious towels and body wash/lotions in the baths. The owners are attentive to details and the unit was spotless upon arrival. The design is cozy and well-suited to either a delightful family gathering or a couples/friends getaway. It is convenient to groceries, downtown Estes Park and RMNP east entrances. We enjoyed our stay and wish that we hadn't found it necessary to check out early amidst COVID-19. If we return to Estes Park, we would stay in this unit again. Cindi was an excellent host. Among the nicest properties we have booked through VRBO.
