“Great location, easy check in. Was a little disappointed the the activity guy- he only answered with yes or no answers and did not offer any suggestions or things to do. There may not have been anything but he did not even say that. I kind of expected him to be more friendly and helpful. The room was nice but the bed was awful. I think it is time to replace the mattress. I did let ve the location and the history of the hotel itself!”

“Wonderful stay. Mark was fantastic. Treated us like a member of the family. Even though it’s on the main road it was very quiet. Extremely clean. It’s only an $9 Uber to the Basin Hotel downtown. We stayed in the Renaissance Room. Very spacious. Our only regret was the whole reason I booked was the winery on site, and it was closed, but they do have another one not far away. We will definitely stay here again.”

“This was a wonderful property! It's the perfect balance of secluded and close to town. The property is beautiful with the lake directly across from the road. You can sit outside on the patio and just enjoy the nature. When you are ready to go into town you are only a 5 min drive. It's the best of both worlds. “Nice place to stay. Low ceilings in some parts (I’m 6’8”). Amenities were minimal but the place was clean, comfortable, and in decent repair. Definitely need a vehicle with good clearance as the lake roads are rough. ”
