“Peaceful, comfortable, beautiful, and very kind hosts! We loved staying with Marida and her family, they were very welcoming and their home is stunning. It’s easy to get to several nice hill towns in the area like Montepulciano and you can walk to Pienza which was lovely (up a hill though). My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay!”

“The apartment is large. Basically 3 separate rooms. 2 on the second floor and 1 on the 3rd floor. I would not recommend for someone that cannot do steps, especially the third floor bedroom, as the bathroom has 3 steps to get down to it. It was a beautiful bathroom but just be aware. I cannot say enough about the host, Syed! He bent over backward to transport us to where we wanted to go. (We did a cooking class about 15 minutes from the city! I highly recommend.) “Ideally located at the top of the old town. Five minute walk to the main square. Five minute walk to plenty of free parking along the town wall. Great views across the Tuscan valley from all rooms with complete privacy. Well stocked with supplies in the kitchen,laundry etc.The host was born in the town and speaks perfect English.He was easily accessible with great recommendations of his beloved home. Highly recommend. Will be back.”

“Our stay at Casamaggiore was perfect. The property was traditionally and simply styled, well supplied and met all our needs. The facilities were as advertised and we delighted in using the pool and tennis courts. The property is perfectly situated for day trips to explore the region. The balcony was our favourite spot for a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. Our stay was an absolute highlight in our exploration of Italy. Thankyou Gisella for your kind hosting.”

“The apartment was well located and had everything for cooking meals. It was as shown in the photos except for the bed which was not the same. It was also darker, not as bright as described. Overall, everything was as expected. ”

“Excellent host, good communications and quick to reply to questions. Check-in and check out was easy and without fuss. Apartment has basic amenities but everything there functions. It is in need of some updating and unfortunately bedrooms are a little musty. Surrounding area is quiet and beautiful. We had two ground floor apartments and did have some noise from upstairs apartments. The price charged for peak holiday season and location did represent good value for money overall.”
