“This home was in perfect distance to all activities in the national Park area! Right in the middle of restaurants and a grocery store. The house was fantastic with all amenities. “We loved Cardinal Cottage. Location was perfect for all the hiking and sight-seeing we wanted to do. The house was very cute, very clean, and very well stocked. It had everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive. The neighborhood is quiet with glorious trees and some wildlife to observe. We could not have been happier.”

The beaded ceiling molding for the walls and the ceiling with the massive baseboards are classic for the era it was built. The updated tub/shower and furnishings made it very comfortable. “The property is very comfortable, clean, and cozy! We very much enjoyed our stay while we ventured about the many places to see in the area. Wish it would have been a little warmer outside, so we could have enjoyed the screened in porch. The property has everything you need and then some. Owners are very nice and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!”

“My family and I spent the weekend here for Gauley Fest and it did not disappoint. Great location of the home - a couple of minutes to main stores like Walmart and Starbucks and an easy 20 minute drive to the National Park and rivers. The fire pit and hot tub were great ways to unwind after our long hikes. Plenty of room for us to spread out too!”

“Clean and cute! Excellent communication from hosts Huge Fully equipped kitchen and island for cooking and snacking. The backyard was big and fenced for privacy. There are large gaps under the fence so keep a close eye on pets and little ones. The location was super convenient, though we experienced road noise from the big hiway. The third bedroom has a cute little bunk bed , could be a little tight for adults- worked out well for us. We recommend and would stay again!”
