"The house is beautiful and clean! Very centrally located to all the attractions in the area: <10 minutes to Sequoia Park, 15 minutes to Samoa Dunes, 20 minutes to Clam Beach, 45 minutes to Redwoods. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, and she loved the attractions as much as we did! Thank you!"

"Thank you Phil and Jeannie! Prior to our stay, we were in contact with homeowner Phil, who was most gracious with answering questions we had, and later showing us this home, of which he lives about a minute drive away from. "Great Property! Just enough of everything to make for a great stay! Loved the deck and outdoor space...everything was as stated....great location with quiet neighborhood! (Except for neighbors dogs if got close to fence which couldn't be helped) :) only suggestion would be to replace antique door handle on bathroom and the light switch has an issue in bathroom also. "We enjoyed our stay very much! The property was a little difficult to locate, as it was through a gate at the back of the property. We ended up arriving in the dark at night and found ourselves down the wrong driveway, but once we saw the Vacasa sign, the location became evident."

"I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. Looked clean, but was only clean in the middle. "

"I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews, but our stay here was perfect. We opted for a room with a jetted tub which was great after two long days of hiking (though one person complained that the jets weren't powerful enough.) The room was clean and the grounds were well maintained. Sound was not an issue, but the door doesn't block sound that well so it's possible to hear people coming and going from their rooms within the courtyard quite easily. On the other hand, we were serenaded by the frogs in the koi pond every night. The outdoor hot tub was closed for maintenance, but the indoor hot tub was open. Pool closes at 9pm so by the time we were at our room each night, it was already closed, but that's why we got the room with the tub. The area around the hotel and the parking lot did not seem unsafe in any way. I rarely saw anyone who wasn't a hotel guest when I looked out the window. Our room had a sliding door that looked out onto the adjacent street and it wasn't an issue. Oh, one minor complaint - the TV had motion smoothing enabled on every channel so all the movies looked like soap operas. TV was basically unwatchable. Should be disabled but there's no way to adjust the menu settings. "
