  • Timbalah är ett utsökt hus på landet som rymmer upp till 10 gäster. Beläget i hjärtat av fantastiska Fitzroy Falls, är det idealiskt beläget. Timbalah är bara en stund till Mali Brae Farm, Mt. Ashby Estate, mindre än 15 minuter till Moss Vale, Bowral och Kangaroo Valley. Timbalah is a very spacious house with plenty of room for our family of 5 plus dog. We enjoyed the log fire and the pool table, as well as the quiet location near the national park. It’s a substantial home and well equipped, however there was a damp and musty smell in the downstairs bedrooms and we also encountered a broken door handle (upstairs bathroom), stained carpets, dirty tile grout and broken window blinds that let this property down. For dog owners it’s worth knowing that this property is not fully fenced - unfortunately our dog disappeared into the neighbours backyard a couple of times. With a little love and attention we feel this family house could be described as ‘luxury’ again.

The house is beautiful, and it’s in a great location. The house is really well equipped, it’s great for kids and our little dog enjoyed it too. Communication with our host Tim was excellent, he was really helpful and always responded quickly. We would love to stay here again.

The spa was lovely and the fireplace was really nice to sit around. Tim, the host was lovely, friendly and helpful. The house was almost perfect for the 14 of us, except for the fact that we had no idea that the master bedroom was a loft, so getting to sleep when others were still up was near impossible. The house offered a great dining area and kitchen which made our shared dinners a wonderful experience. Overall, a lovely week.

We had an amazing stay. We wanted a country getaway from our busy lifestyles and we got exactly that. The property was beautiful- the indoor fireplace was lovely and the whole place was so clean. Tim was a very good host, we really appreciated the extra touches of a bottle of wine and chocolates. The kids had a great time too, huge backyard and the walk to the falls was very easy,Think we might make it annual getaway with the family.Thanks Tim!

Tranquil break

Great location for getting away from the rat-race. Timbala is a very large property suitable for a party of 10 adults or up to 14 with children. The large kitchen, hot-tub and pool table were a hit.

Great country house

Timbalah is an impressive property situated in a beautiful quiet spot and was ideal for a wedding at nearby Mali Brae farm. There is plenty of space, super comfy beds and a pleasant garden.

Lovely retreat in the country

Very spacious house with cosy fire and comfy couches, surrounded by national park. Walking distance to Fitzroy Falls and easy drive into nearby towns. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed watching the birds. Lovely place to get away from it all and unwind.

Awesome weekend

Timbalah was a fantastic venue for my birthday celebration. Tim, the owner, was awesome and very kind. We loved the place and it was made even more special by the fact we could take our dog.

The location was lovely and the facilities were mostly clean. We enjoyed our stay here. I agree with one of the reviews as the cleanliness of the place was not the best - but I think it is because it is a pet-friendly location. The dishwasher was unusable as there was mould inside which did not disappear even though we ran the machine. Oven looked like it has never been cleaned and the utensils are everywhere. Other than that - it was a great short getaway in a very spacious and aesthetic house.

Great getaway

This property is in a great location, easy to get to in the Southern Highlands. We were able to accommodate our whole family in the one location without being on top of each other. I think this will be a new trend for family get togethers on special occasions.

Beautiful Country Stay

Had a beautiful weekend away with the extended family. Plently of room and lovely living spaces to enjoy. Enjoyed the fireplace while the kids played pool all night long. Sweet little garden perfect for a morning coffee. Highly recommended

Mother's Day Weekend away

The host was very accommodating and even built a handrail for my elderly mother. Huge, comfortable home very close to Firzroy Falls and national parks. We were a group of 11 women (3 generations), we had a wonderful weekend in this relaxing location :)
