“Inside the house, things were fine. No complaints other than the drapes in front room, and dining area had over a foot of material resting on the floor, easily covering up heating vents - health/fire hazard? Outside the house, the yard is in total disrepair. Steep porch steps with no rail - another health risk for elderly people like us. Nice community. Nice house. Just needs better care.”

“We enjoyed the house and we were comfortable but the windows really need to be cleaned and cobwebs removed. Also, back deck furniture was not cleaned and had a lot of cat or dog fur. We didn’t use the deck because of this. The listing says ‘hot tub’ but we only saw a jacuzzi in the primary bedroom en suite. It wouldn’t take much to make this a more lovely stay. Hosts were kind and responsive. We wish them well.”

“The property was beautiful. Everything yoiu would need was provided. It was off the beaten path so very quiet and woodsy. Our group of 9 were high school buddies (50 years ago) having our yearly golf trip. Several golf courses within 15 min and after a round of golf in the warm weather, the pool was a life safer. Everyone staying there said the accomodations were beyond their expectations.”

“Beautiful property and wonderful host. Close property was well maintained and provided beautiful areas for lounging and picnicking. Plenty of room beyond that for exploring and hiking. The host was gracious and spent some time talking to us, however was not invasive at all and afforded us plenty time to ourselves. Really enjoyed the animals and meeting the desert tortoise. 100% will stay again in the future.”

“We had a family reunion with 21 people stay at Forest Cottage. There was plenty of space, our children ages 1-11 loved the “park” as they called it, which was the large, completely fenced play area out front which we could watch them play from the front deck or from the many windows in the house. The kitchen is very well equipped with many pots and pans, dishes, etc. There is a big closet with lots of family games. Plenty of bedding and towels are provided, as well as hand soap, TP, and paper...
