“Such a lovely place to stay. Fully equipped with everything you'd need, including some of their hen's eggs. The property comes with a heat pump and UFH (underfloor heating) so we were very cosy. There is also a wood stove but found it was not required for our stay in September. Would be amazing in the winter months. Great shower, strong water pressure and, plenty of hot water for 4 adults and 1 child. We look forward to returning and highly recommend to anyone else.”

“Beautiful surroundings and views, house pleasant and has everything you need. Kitchen a nice size and modern. Uncomfortable double bed and for the price (over 300 a night) I would expect more comfort. Bathroom modern, no bath, but great shower. A nice space but cleaners left food in cupboards and grease. “The amenities in the property were very poor. The price I paid for one night stay was extort for the facilities on offer in the property. The heating only worked in the kitchen. The electric heaters in other rooms were present but could not be switched on. There was no hot water in the property. We tried following the advice in the property folder but were unable to turn on the hot water. The mattress in the main bedroom was very springy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, very poor...

“Disappointing and grubby yet with quality kitchen and bedding.Location not quite as "secluded" as expected. No guest information at all - work out the heating, wifi, tv for yourself!The property needs maintaining and cleaning properly. Could have been so much better.”
