Pensionat i Fort Gratiot

“The property is nice and the staff is excellent. The only complaint I have is that Expedia says there is a full size refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. However there is only a half size refrigerator and no microwave. The staff at the hotel has told Expedia on numerous occasions, but they won’t change it in the description. Also, I was there Sunday through Wednesday and many things are only open Wednesday through Sunday, so I can’t speak on some of the onsite amenities.”

“Very nicely updated and they did a wonderful job preserving the authentic interior. The bar has a terrific selection and the restaurant menu had something for everyone. It's not a quiet location but that's kind of obvious being at the very center of town. I can imagine during the summer months there would be quite a bit more street noise but the later it got, the quieter it became. “Friendly/helpful staff and reasonable price!”

“I would never recommend this hotel. The room was not clean at all chunks of dirt on the floor the jacuzzi tub appeared to have been painted but was scratch and nasty. A used vape was laying on the mattress between the wall and the mattress. We checked for bed bugs! Were the sheets even changed, who knows. We checked right out, in the room less than 10 minutes. “The hotel feels old and outdated. The breakfast was very minimal. We wanted to use the pool but after seeing the breakfast choices we had to go out to eat so did not have time to swim.”

“Staff went above and beyond to accommodate guests, the filet mignon was incredible. Town is always buzzing w fun activities, all walkabe including free concerts, swimming in river, brewery. Park always has kids playing football, sports at all ages. The classic feel and beauty of the property itself is worth a stay! Ill be back!”
