âMen and my girlfriend booked this place as something relatively cheap to use as base during the days when we had a lot of day-trips planned. We were both surprised about how Nice it was. We were met by the host Sandra who gave us plenty of tips of things to do and places to visit. The room was really clean, great AC, it was quiet, and really close to the city center of Split! Would recommend it to anyone!â

âThe hosts: Pero, Marina & Sandra were very helpful and all aspects. From the time we met them to 9 nights of stay to the time we said good bye, we were treated with utmost care.
Pero had prepared a welcome treat with a snack platter and home made wine and liquor. Then he explained us about the history of Croatia (and Split) dating back from the 3rd century. After that, we were given detailed information about the places to visit, restaurants to try and activities to do. This welcome session...

From the minute you walk into the almost hidden doorway, to the small stone spiral steps up, this boutique hotel is pure magic. âVery cozy stay and about as central you can get. Ante and Ivan goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great vacation with good trips and food, whether you chose to have breakfast on the nice terrace (self-catering in fully equipped kitchen) or pop around the corner and treat yourself at a restaurant. You need to walk the 5 stairs and will be woken up by the cathedral bells in the morning, but this only adds to the charm and is anyway something to expect when you live smack in the midst of...

"Excellent location in the city. Large room with a comfortable bed at a good price. The hotel is inside an abandoned mall, but that was fine for me and my wife.
However, there was an extremely bad smell in the bathroom, likely due to old plumbing, which made it difficult to sleep at night. I would have rated it 4 out of 5 if not for the smell. As it stands, I can only give it a 2.
