“Property was impressive. High quality furniture for such a small house, commercial size stove, refrigerator, extra ice maker, HUGH TV. Extremely comfortable sofa. For a one bedroom, lots of space inside and out. Would be great for a family reunion, barbecue, party of any kind. Bottom bathroom would need to work! Fishing NOT so good, but guys tried and enjoyed themselves. Nice to sit out and enjoy the view. Master bathroom without a door NOT for everyone but also HUGH. We needed help getting into...

“This house was perfect for our family of five adults. Very unique rooms with comfy beds and soft linens. Lots of little extras that you don’t see from other owners. The back yard has a huge privacy fence, a nice fire pit, even tiki torches- all combined it made for perfect evenings sitting outside visiting. We hope this is available on our next visit to New Iberia. :)”

“We were greeted with a fresh batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies and 2 vases of freshly picked flowers from the property. The property was very cleaned, well stocked and decorated cute. It is located very close to EVERYTHING and we definitely stay here again if ever we come back. We had a small issue with the wi-fi. The owner lives on the property and the issue was immediately taken care of. GREAT stay!! ❤️”

“Great location, house was thoroughly clean and beautifully arranged. Would be perfect location for downtown New Iberia festivities. Parking is convenient but a little tight if you have a big vehicle. I understand it’s an alley so it can’t be helped, I’m just saying if possible, try to visit in a smaller-sized vehicle. Overall the house and hosts are 10/10 and we hope to visit again!”

Well stocked with dishes/utensils/grills/boiling pots etc. The screened front and back porch were our favorite places - north wind one evening made north side a little cool. House is (of course) elevated with very relaxing views of the marsh/Vermillion Bay on north-west side or the woods on the other side. Nice trees with lots of Spanish moss added to it all. Very peaceful and restful for my wife and me. Mosquito repellent is a necessity once outside the screen...
