“My husband and I arrived at the Lake Bowen cottage on a very hot summer day. We had an easy entry and welcomed the air conditioning and easy walk to the water. Everything was clean and comfortable. This is an upstairs apartment and we are in our seventies, but our own home has stairs and these were no problem for us. The lake site was great; shopping and restaurants are an easy drive. We hope to return one day -- our four-night stay was our favorite lake experience.”

“This home was amazing! Everything was perfect. Leo was a great host, he communicated well and the extras were unexpected. The fridge was stocked with a variety of beverages, various creamers and even ice cream bars! The cappuccino machine was a hit with the wife and kids (they are adults) and I enjoyed the variety of K-cups provided! Leo provided a bunch of snacks and candy as well. “After the hurricane, there were not many places in the county that had electricity, but this home did. It was a blessing for our family to be able to live and work here for a week. The house was clean and very comfortable and the host was very easy to work with. Highly recommended for someone visiting the area or needing a place to stay while home is unavailable. ”

“Birdsong is an adorable cottage & perfect place for me to stay while in town for several weeks. We were lucky that the flowers on the property were blooming so it was extra pretty! The cottage is close to uptown and 74, and is the perfect size for two people! Marywinn was wonderful and easy to deal with, quick to communicate and I highly recommend her property if you're staying in Shelby! ”
