Celebrate the season at Partridge Place -- decked for the Holidays!

Welcome to Partridge Place, a beautiful vacation home located in the heart of the Galena Territory. This recently updated home offers all the comforts and conveniences of a modern rental, with new finishes and updated features throughout. The home accommodates up to 10 guests with 4 bedrooms (3 Kings, 1 Queen) and a sleeper sofa in the lower level living space, each with an ensuite bathroom, providing plenty of privacy and space.

Enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding landscape from the expansive deck or screened porch. For cooler nights, gather around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing. Relax in the hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring nearby attractions. And don't forget to snap some photos at the fun selfie station!

The home features two cozy living rooms, one of which includes a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. Smart TVs are available in both living rooms and all bedrooms, but guests should bring their own logins. You'll be provided six (6) access cards for use of The Galena Territory Owners Club amenities which include hiking trails, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and more. And for the horse enthusiasts, book a trail ride with one of the horses at Shenandoah Riding Center. If you need more access cards during your stay, additional day passes can be purchased for $5 per person/day (required for those 5 years and up).

The Galena Territory and nearby areas offer a wide variety of activities year-round. Eagle Ridge Resort has four golf courses, a spa, several restaurants, a golf simulator & Nordic Center with sledding and ice skating during the winter months. Chestnut Mountain is an excellent destination for Midwest skiing, and in the warmer months, you can enjoy activities like the Alpine Slide, Screaming Eagle zipline ride, and mountain biking. Historic Downtown Galena is just 10 minutes away and offers kayaking on the Galena River, unique shopping experiences, and plenty of great restaurants to explore.

Partridge Place is a dog-friendly home with a $150 pet fee, up to 2 dogs max.

This property was a terrific place for our family containing 3 generations. All bedrooms had their own bathrooms and the property was very clean. Extremely peaceful location! Bring your own bath towels as the towels were not absorbent, they were like blankets. Other than that, our stay was perfect! We would choose this property again in the future.

Our ladies trip was very relaxing which in part was because of this home. Very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Morning coffee on the enclosed deck was a great way to start the day. The hot tub was very relaxing and the directions made it easy to use. The property manager was very responsive, despite texting him with minor questions. Having access to the Owners Clubhouse was a plus. Thank you!

We had a very enjoyable couples weekend at this property. The house was perfect for 4 couples to share. As each couple had their own spacious bedroom and separate bathroom to use. The living and dining areas were large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. We also enjoyed using the BBQ grill, fire-pit and hot-tub on property. All amenities were clean and easy to use. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Galena / Eagle Ridge Territory area.

This home, while in a neighborhood, pulses with a peaceful rhythm. It's the kind of rhythm you won't hear in a city. It's the darting movements of a nest of bunnies between bushes, the layered chorus of birds trading songs from morning to dusk, and even the staccato of a ceiling fan keeping time like a metronome. You don't just stay here. You tune in. There were five of us, but somehow, I felt alone in the best way. Not isolated. Not lonely. Just perfectly unplugged. No crowds. No construction. Just the hush of trees, lined up, row after endless leafy row, shielding areas of the backyard. Shade, peace, and stillness wrapped around like a favorite blanket.What else can I say except this? There's a small cushion on the porch that simply says, "Relax." Don't take this as a suggestion. It's a promise. And this place keeps it beautifully.

Great Getaway

We had everything we needed during our stay. The space was perfect, room to gather at the table, in the living room and in the outside screened-in porch. We appreciated the variety of dishes available. Everything was clean, and it was easy to find what we needed. The beds were VERY comfortable, and there were many pillows to choose from in each room.We had easy communication with the host, Brian. We did experience a power outage due to storms in the area, and I have already suggested to Brian about placing flashlights in the house, as we lost power for several hours.The only suggestions we would have are a few maintenance ones; there is mold on some of the doors leading outside and the screened in porch connecting to the outside deck. Also, the sink in the first bathroom upstairs drains very slow. These did not affect our stay at all, but I wanted to inform you about them.We would stay here again as it was a perfect location, very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

Our family of 8 enjoyed the big, beautiful house in Galena. Everything you need and want us provided, including a relaxing hot tub, fire pit and chairs, and bedrooms and bathrooms for each. Close to all the fun activities in the area. Secluded quiet and peaceful home. Host is very responsive.
