Nice touch that they had turned on the AC well before my arrival, so the room was cool. The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options, to include tasty local fruits. And the price was unbeatable for what I received in return. I wished I had time to stay another night- alas, this was not within my travel itinerary. ”

“56 By Deco is smack bang in the middle of the old Fort district of Galle with restaurents and shops all around and the old sea wall just a five minute walk away. The hotel is very small but the rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. The staff were super attentive and friendly. Breakfast downstairs was great and served another friendly member of the team. If you are spending a day or two in Galle I can warmly recommend.”

“It's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay.”
