Great big family

Nice property with easy access to town. Great bedrooms and bathrooms. Living space was good. Kitchen had lots of appliances (two fridges, microwaves, dishwashers). Easy trash pick ups. Kitchen supplies could use some refreshing.

Hidden gem

Had a family vacation with a variety of ages. House had plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. Good location, close to town. A bonus was seeing bears a few nights.

Great place for family gathering

Most things about the property were great. However, we accumulated a lot of trash and although we called twice for pickup, no one showed up. We had to leave a lot of trash in the property when we left. The pool heater was not working when we arrived but someone came promptly and fixed it. The decorations for Christmas were beautiful!

Absolutely Amazing

This property was just perfect for our family gathering. There were 8 of us ranging from 80 to 2. The bedrooms were spacious and each had a bathroom. The primary bedroom is larger than some cabins we’ve stayed in. This is the best equipped property we’ve ever stayed in. And the kitchen! 2 refrigerators, 2 cooktops, dishwashers. The indoor pool and game room as well as the hot tub were the icing on the cake. Can’t say enough good things about this extraordinary property.

Daily Bears

The location is up a hill with a short walk to the East end of town. The local bears were seen 7 out of our 8 day stay. Lock your car. We saw a bear open a closed driver side door and remove the construction workers lunch. The 5 king suites were appreciated by our family. The living and dining areas were adequate for 10 adults and 6 grandchildren. The pool is small but was loved by the grandkids. The double fridges were excellent. Negatives- The dining room bench was filthy dirty. The washer basket & gasket was black with mold. The shower curtain in the br above the kitchen was covered with mold for the bottom 2 feet. Another bath had a shower that dripped 2 times a second. Both fridges had water filters that EXPIRED in 2022. The pool door knob fell off on the pool side. Not provided- hangers, tissues, condiments including salt/pepper. 3 dishwasher pods were provided. The 2 story great room is beautiful but it is very noisy.

WOW is right!

We had a great stay at the Smokey Mountain WOW cabin! The house was clean, and comfortable with all the needed supplies from linens to towels to kitchen supplies; they even had a gas grill for us to use! We enjoyed the hot tub, indoor pool, game room and indoor theater!

Smokey Mountain WOW

Overall house was very comfortable and met our large family needs. There were a few water issues: leak under kitchen sink (pipe loose), leaky shower head in top front king suite, and overall shower water pressure was poor. We loved the short walk to shops, restaurants and activity in the downtown area. Ober Gatlinburg traveled over house and kids really liked to sit outside to watch/wave as it passed by. Pool, game room, and theater room was a big hit! Kitchen is well stocked for a big group and the double "everything" was super helpful! Property management was very nice and helpful. The ONLY reason for the less than perfect review was due the overall floor cleanliness. The floors felt gummy/sticky and our feet stayed black. Not sure if it was the product used on the floors, but we just kept our socks on and washed frequently even after we asked to have floors redone. Nothing that can't be corrected. We'd love to return again! Thanks for sharing your lovely home with our family, we had a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Everything about this vacation was outstanding. Plenty of room in this home. Close to downtown Gatlinburg. Very clean. Loved the Christmas decorations. I would like to spend a week here at Christmas some year. Well stocked

Beware - electrical issues

On checking in people were getting electrical shocks in pool - reported immediately. Hot tub was cold. Electrician arrived around 10 pm. Told to stay out of pool until electrical could be fixed (very dangerous and scary issue I thought) would require pool company to come out was told. Fixed hot tub temp from 82 and reset to 100. Told us not to go in hot tub until there was more water for jets to work. Finally 2 days later pool repair happened and hot tub was filled. Kitchen had trash on arrival, upstairs shower leaked into downstairs kitchen. Plugs didn't work in main floor master bath. Dirty clothes in upstairs bureau. Could be a nice place if electrical problems were solved. Very unfortunate - trying to get Timber Tops to respond to requests as could not use pool or hot tub for 2 days of stay. Very unhappy with the whole situation. Still waiting on response from Timber Tops. Cabin has potential but would definitely not stay again - would be afraid to .

Need to get the wood Bees in control. And the clock needs a screw instead of a brass hanger it fell, could have hurt someone Window upstairs in the stairs was leaking bad during a storm. Need caulking

Perfect stay

Beautiful home, beautiful furnishings. Very clean. You really can walk downtown from this home. Other properties claim you can walk downtown, but they mean “ mountain climbers”. LOL. Located Upper end of Gatlinburg strip at Park entrance , Ober Gatlinburg tram ride travels directly above property. PLUS has 2 refrigerators, 2 glass top stoves, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves. Great for cooking for our clan of 16. Plenty towels, linens and kitchen utensils. Great vacation. Didn’t see any bear, only squirrel & turkey in woods off back deck. Driveway will accommodate 4 vehicles, but had to plan who would leave first and second. Indoor pool is small, but we enjoyed it tremendously. Left 2 important personal items upon departure and host was very nice to share new door code and allow us back into property later in the day to retrieve them.

Gorgeous and Fun

We had a big family get-together with several kids ages 1-10, and the variety of things to do were amazing— indoor pool, game room, movie room. Everyone had different spots to congregate and we never felt crowded. Gorgeous place and the location was perfect!

Christmas Stay

Mountain Wow is an excellent property, equal to or better than the listings. Our group of 12 had no problems. The property should handle up to 18 with ease. The kitchen has double appliances that made meal prep a breeze. The location is good with a short walk to town. The biggest surprise were the Christmas decorations to include a lighted Christmas tree. This seasonal touch was icing on the cake. I would re-book Wow in a minute.

Rough check-in

Door code was supposed to be released at 4p. Got there a little early and had to wait over an hour to get in. Was pushing 5p and getting dark. Made 3 phone calls before getting code. Super frustrating after traveling all day!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This cabin was a dream! Perfect for a girls weekend, right off the main Gatlinburg strip, and was ideal for a group who loves movie watching and puzzles. We even saw a bear during our stay! We will definitely be returning!

Great place and Great Location!

This place was wonderful! Lots is space. Fun game and theatre room plus a pool. Very nice fire pit area. Walking location to downtown Gatlinburg if you don’t mind a little climb coming home. Really well stocked kitchen with double ovens, two microwaves and two dishwashers. We will rent this one again!
