“Loved the view of the lake. Cabin/efficiency apartment was less than we were expecting. Our host was very standoffish and not friendly. The site stated a bedroom and usually that includes a door with privacy that was not the case. Electrical was outdated and couldn't use the microwave. “Janet and her husband are very friendly and gracious hosts. They were available to answer all questions and even brought firewood for the pit. “We needed a place to relax after a day of snowmobiling in Gaylord and this home fit the bill perfectly. Spacious and charming it was like we were time-warped back to the 50's/60's. The original cabin, along with the addition, allowed the four of us plenty of room for sleeping and lounging. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and get the history of the property.
