“Clean room, good location but room was a bit musty. I am hyper picky about this topic bc of a bad mold experience from my past so take my criticism with a grain of salt. All in all a good value.”

“I stayed in the last room at end of parking lot. Woken up to kid playing basketball. Not his fault. The hoop was very close to my room. There is plenty space to put that thing farther away. For me it sounded Iike the kid was bouncing the ball off the wall. A rude awakening. Fortunately l was only there for one night.”

“I’ve used truckstop bathrooms that were cleaner in the bathroom that we had in our room! That’s not even the worst part, the carpets need to be desperately changed. The entire room smelled of urine. It was difficult for us to even stay in the room. I would’ve left immediately but the entire town of Sandusky had been booked up. I will never say this hotel ever again. I am warning all of those who look for cleanliness, this is not the place.”

“Our room was fantastic. Complimentary beer, wine, and chocolate?? Wow! Also, the comfy couch, fireplace and big bed exceeded our expectations for our stay. The free bowling and onsite restaurant, bars and activities made the stay more fun. Food was fantastic. Staff was fantastic and so nice. Will return!!”

“We had a pleasant stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was on the better side of a typical hotel breakfast. The coffee was very good. Fitness center was very typical for a hotel. Did not use the pool. Hotel was clean.”

“This was our first and last time at Great Wolf Lodge. We were new to the place was not prepared for all of the underlying charges. We used the gift shop to buy hair products and ended up with a Doordash charge 5 minutes afterwards. We did not use Doordash the entire trip. When speaking with the front desk they blamed us for being "careless." I am not fully discrediting GWL just don't be like us and think because it's family oriented, it's family caring!”

“Cures resort. The added benefit of getting early access to cedar point was huge. I wish it would have had a pool open past 8pm though. The water park closed at 8 and having a nice lounging pool would have been nice after spending the day at the park. The room was fine. Comfy and convenient..our table was broken and saw some wear in places. Would have liked to have had a coffee maker in the room. Food was kinda pricy in the resort but overall a nice place.”

“Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs. Bed seemed short and sheets were crinkly and starchy. Adequate...

“Travelling with family for a one night stay just passing through Sandusky. Pictures did not do it justice. First of all the surroundings seemed a bit shady and felt generally unsafe. Room was worn down. Key machine was malfunctioning so check in took a long while. Internet access took forever which they blamed on the bad weather. People were being noisy late in the evening and no one seemed to care. Reeked of weed. Would not recommend for a family.”

“I felt it was a very small room we stayed 4 days asked twice for our room to be cleaned in that time not 1 proper cleaning only trash taken 1 time and towels swapped 1 time was done. all public areas were very clean it's very modern but not really overly comfortable”

“The staff is super helpful, the rooms are unique and the area is very nice. The “Oh Taco” restaurant on the premises is a must, especially the guacamole with feta and honey! Don’t miss out on that! Would absolutely recommend staying here.”
