If you are a fan of the calming effects of waterfalls the Columbia Gorge is where to find your peaceful inner self. Although the Gorge was devastated by fire in 2017 and many iconic waterfalls are still off limits, there are abundant pristine locations still accessible. Falls Creek Falls is located on the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge North of Carson. It is a 1.7 mile moderate hike to the falls. Continue up the Wind River Hwy. for incredible views of Mt. Saint Helen at McClellen view point. or have lunch in Carson at Backwoods Brewing for delicious pizza and brews. #greatoutdoors
